lol yeah maybe Microsoft will realize how revolutionary it can be and jump on it.
Other than that the building aspect still has a lot of mystery. I know you can go on runs for material and such which is cool, but the real questions I have are what happens to your base when you leave it. Does it stay? Can you scrap it down? Or can you end up setting up a base in an area and more players might create their own near you and end up creating a colony.

@KDubYah
Its going to be 2 players but it will offer some main features from the MMO, the most interesting one to me is the fact that you can salvage materials and build forts and bases to keep yourself safe.
Also their is no word on the pay model but the Founder of the company and a lot of the employees have worked for Arenanet the makers of Guild Wars. So they aren't ones to do things by the typical MMO formula. I mean with it in on Xbox Live they c...
They are coming out with an arcade game for xbox live first. Think of it like Dead Rising Case Zero, it has the same gameplay and such but on a smaller scale.
It will have co-op and give you a taste of features and gameplay. This is so Microsoft can see how successful the game can be and also so Undead Labs can use it as a beta to take player feedback and tweak the game accordingly.
Then the moment we have all been waiting for we get an MMO Zombie/Surviva...
More like an actual survival/zombie experience with realistic gameplay. Oppose to Left4Dead where on clip in an M16 can blow through 200-500 people.
Gears of War has always had great graphics. I am not seeing any difference in these shots?
I feel like the graphical improvements will be minor making it unworthy.
The only reason a new console should come out is if they make the systems strong enough to support more players in online games.
I just dont see people willing to fork over the $400 for a new system on top of games.
Was funny, I couldnt believe people stood in that ridiculous line for a 9 minute video.
If I had to wait in that I would have been pissed. Thank god for media badges.
Please tell me that you people dont seriously believe this is serious?
Do you think Bioware was fighting for reviews so drastically when every well-known site gave them outstanding reviews?
Played it for a little bit, it felt like Tribes/Unreal/Global Agenda combined.
Then again it was only the pvp, I think the pve will be great and the graphics look very good for a F2P.
I am praying the gameplay works as well as it looks.
Really?
I think this should be http://yfrog.com/gz0q5qj
A tip of the hat to the man who realizes that it is hilarious to see 20+ year old men get defensive over a video game.
God...I just realized how sad that is.
I think the gameplay alone is unique. No more get a group of players run into an enemy group and start spamming buttons until they are dead.
Thank you Anet.
Looks like the thief really utilizes switching weapons.
Not to say your wrong about this combat being unrealistic but I believe the warrior could kill someone in the last game by screaming loudly toward the end.
what were you playing on?
I played for over +65 hours completing everything quest in the Dragon Age game. That doesn't even include my completion of the expansion.
I was wrapped up the in the game's universe,storyline, and dialogue. I loved it so much I Suffered through the crappy gameplay that it was filled with.
I know the "hardcore" RPG fans feel the need to riot because "OMGZ CHANGE!" but this was a much needed fix to a broken combat system that made co...
Contrary to the nutcases who rage when anybody suggests change to the RPG's they play in dimly lit basements away from the world.
I think a 2-4 player co-op or sidekick system would be fun. Oblivion was incredibly massive I would really appreciate the option to adventure with a friend or two especially with the information from this article.
@Baka-akaB
I agree, they have stated for GW2 the combat will have aspects of first person shooters where its not all about running into groups hitting number keys and then waiting for a bar to disappear.
Movement and positioning is going to play a big role. You can actually dodge arrows coming at you, cast things like fire rings in front of archers and have them shoot fire arrows, and even flank entire groups depending on your position.

There is no such thing as gaming journalism. They either receive press releases and post them to their sites for people to receive news or they give their opinion on something in gaming.
They are no more journalists than any other angry troll on a forum.
