Crazy to think that consoles sell differently in different towns, cities, states, or countries. But by all means create an article about one store manager who tells you how his store is doing and make it seem like it is nationally.

Fortnite - either multiplatform or Microsoft is trying to steal thunder from the launch.
Fortnite is more than likely going to offer the same building/desctruction capabilities that we saw demoed in Everquest Next, but in a zombie environment, that is also more cartoony and fun, rather than dreary like Gears.

It's clear that he meant that this current title will only be on 360/PC/Xbox One, but as far as 2-3 years in the future is concerned, all he is saying is nothing is off the table.

Yeah Microsoft will fight to make the case that it should stay exclusive and even if it doesnt with a sequel it will be hard for Sony to say, "hey look its over here too now!"
I also wouldnt be surprised in 2-3 years if we just see a monumental deal for their studio to keep them making games solely for Xbox.

Might sound extreme but if you make an example of one, others will cower at the thought of stirring up fake controversy.
I'm sure devs and Sony/Microsoft will try their hardest to entice people to go Digital for the obvious monetary benefit.
If they are able to offer good deals they will also be able to create that Steam economy at some point in their cycle and will be great for both consumers and the developers.
I also do this with the added perk that it will eventually turn Gamestops into Radio Shacks.

Both systems are going to push out great games and about 80% of all games released are going to be on both systems. If anything is a weak argument it is trying to make it sound like the XB1 isnt offering that.
Regardless of your expected criticism of the XB1 cloud, Microsoft is making it really clear they aren't just offering innovation to the games, but also to the system...
Digital purchasing is really going to screw up their pre-order numbers until the consoles launch and we can do so.
I haven't pre-ordered a single game because I am going all digital and I assume both systems are missing a lot of numbers because of it.

For the most part you are buying a PS3 with improved hardware. They aren't really doing anything new for their system that is really enticing for consumers that aren't already Playstation fans.
Regardless if you love or hate the new features the XB1 is offering, it is clear that they are offering a new experience rather than just updated hardware.
Sony having an overheat problem without a head start on the market like the 360 did, will really hurt them if they plan on making up ground in North America.
Microsoft will pounce on this and make sure it gets widespread as their voice is louder in NA.
I can see the users on N4G not showing nearly as much calmness if/when this happens to the XB1.
i.e. 13 year olds cheering as if it has any bearing on their lives.
