microsoft is very mistaken, its a very successful franchise, but its definitely not the most successful franchise to date, not even close. im glad microsoft has all this time to talk about their 2-3 releases/year. maybe they should put their time to better use, go develop some damn games microsoft
all these good psp games that are coming out right now should have been vita games :(
not everyones like you BWHAHAHA
you dont 'tweak' hardware so that it can run more advanced software, you change hardware so it can run more advanced software.
totally possible, but it means the pricetag rises, i would rather the pricetag stay low rather then get unreal 4 support
awesome, very awesome
i received two 4gb cards for free from promotions, i plan on using them for quite a while. ill see how the digital pricing changes in the future to see if i want to go down that road, but right now the 4gb cards are working great, havnt even filled one up yet, 4 games on the one im using so far
the ps3's cell can probably already do this - the ps3s power isnt centered around a GPU, its centered around a CPU, which makes it very good at physics
i want to be able to play on my ps3, vita and pc, same server and character for each platform
@sashimi
the only problem i have with believing that is square wants to make money
square is doing such a disservice to their fans by not putting it up, i cant believe it. it must be some kind of licensing issue, packaging it up for digital distribution should be simple
sony has been doing this for six years now (psp/ps3)... and its been available for more than 15 years... nintendo isnt innovating here
the simplicity of the controller is irrelevant, the controller, or in the ps3s case, the vita, does almost nothing, all compatibility has to be done on the main consoles side: the only job the controller/vita has during remote play is to display images that are sent. and because they're both going to be using the same tech to send data (they'll be using the same because the next alternative wireless data transfer is less then half as efficient in sending data, you would have a very lo...
they should put out a new ps3 box, all three HD games for the ps3 on it with downloadable vita versions ... :) would make me buy it right away
you do realize that two of the properties you mentioned there are new this gen, right?
btw, every publisher is going to need to do sequels, they're less risk then new ips, sony has been funding new titles the entire gen, which is something that cant be said about the other platform holders.
this guy obviously has no tech background, so ill break it down here:
about lag:
nintendo will be using a wifi connection as well, if they want to stream any higher resolution pictures (let alone video, they'll have to have a wifi connection to stream video, it wont work any other way) to a screen thats not connected with wires, so wiiu will have the exact same amount of lag as ps3-vita has unless plugged in.
about switching:
im not sure i...
if you bought the game knowing the problems that it had you only have yourself to blame
definitely heavy rain, it definitely says "play me" to people who arent big on gaming
i would also say uncharted because its so much like a movie experience, but i could see people who arent usually the video game type to not like the shooting parts of it... maybe on the easier difficulty settings haha
i hate generalizations like this guy made, kind of pathetic
i came to say the same thing, isnt xseed the publisher for the last story also?
it doesnt seem like nintendo is taking much of a risk here, seems like everyone else is taking that risk for them
definitely dont care about the cod sales, really hope they get past them sooner rather then later
