what do you define as linear? i havent played an mmo yet where youre forced to do any quest, sure there are rewards for doing some quests that most people want to do, but youre never forced into a certain path.
sure you can start at area A and do the quests there, but you can also just skip every quest there and go to are B and do 3 quests, then go back to area A and do 4 quests, then decide that you dont like the area you started in and take a lo...
theres a ton of apple stuff in my house, 6 people live here, only one person buys it all. shes a freak, buys everything apple and im not sure why, she never uses any of it, she just has a stack of it in the corner of her room
apple did something right in getting people like this invested into their brand
games add to the value, the subscription fees take value away. so the games that are exclusive are adding to the value, which im sorry to say is very lacking. on the other hand, microsoft about a year ago raised prices for something that shouldnt cost consumers anything. all in all, the 360 doesnt have much value for me.
might change for other people, if you like the community or whatnot, its just my feelings, dont be offended or anything

completely agree, i cant believe that SE thinks its a good idea to bounce around consoles like this with their franchises. i havnt bought one since the original ps2 releases because of their horrible releases. jumping from platform to platform, not offering digital downloads, it just doesnt work for me so i dont buy them.
not only sony, but every company operating on a digital distribution platform. imagine if he wins this case, he could go on to sue just about any company working in this field. his patent is very vague, it pretty much says that if you have digital distribution, youre in violation of this patent.

wow, this is old, im surprised this is the first time its been put here. this was from japanese launch, and happened after someone reformatted their ps3/vita, went away on restart
maybe if they stopped their crazy marketing schemes more people who bought their game would like it.
instead of hiring marketing teams to say whatever people want to hear to buy a game, they should just tell people exactly what theyre going to get from the game. tell them exactly how the gameplay is, explain what you can and cant do, and you'll get nothing but good scores from everyone who buys it.
good, im interested in knowing how their system works. if its at all a pay-to-win type situation ill never play the game.
