sony and microsoft arent falling behind, nintendo is catching up, theyre still 1 gen behind.

or are you talking about sales? i dont care about sales. sales are a good way to show interest, its not a good indicator of advancement

its a great game, not sure what this guys talking about. he probably didnt like that it wasnt a fps

i posted on facebook from my vita, it says "posted from vita" or something when you do, but anyways, i had 3 people ask me about it and the next day we met up and i let them try it out. they all have vitas now

as long as people are paying, theyre not entitled, theyre customers. customers have every right to voice their displeasure and/or pleasure with a product.

when i go to the movies i dont just suck it up if it was a bad movie, i tell my friends if it was a bad movie. i also tell my friends if it was a good movie.

developers are entertainers, if they dont entertain, theyre not doing their job and deserve the ridicule.

i would like to see remote play be available for the majority of ps3 games. outside that, ps1 and psp games are good, but seriously, i want to play ps3 on the handheld. sometimes its just easier for me to play on a handheld, and would like to have that option.

its a networking problem, not a vita problem. sony has the information on their servers, they need to have the ps3 capture this data while it syncs its own trophies as well.

probably not a high priority, but its an easy task, might happen soon, might not happen at all if sony decides that its easier to just wait for their next console to release (im hoping that this is not the case)

i think the only crazy prices are the games like lumines and dungeon hunter, games that cost very little to develop, yet are being sold at a high price because the publisher thought they could get away with it.

5104d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

games should be priced depending on how much was spent to develop the game, not arbitrarily picked. one game costs more to develop, so it costs more to buy. its not crazy, its good business. the price will drop, if you dont want to buy it at full price, wait 6 months.

btw, uncharted was worth it :)

if sony started doing sales as steam does, who would sell their consoles? retail sells the consoles because theyre going to make a profit on the games, if sony is stealing all their game sales, theyre going to stop selling the consoles.

its already happened with steam and pc gaming, many of the larger retailers dont sell the pc version of games that are released release day on steam anymore. thats fine for steam, they dont need retail stores to sell hardware, they're a so...

i think some guy just saw an opportunity to write an article and went for it lol

i think sony forces a maximum amount, not a minimum. minimums dont matter so much on trophy scale, not to the overall structure. if a developer put too many in it could ruin the system though, so thats where they enforce their rules

they start off as kids, and a bit later the story skips a couple of years and then theyre adults.

its kind of like an intro type thing when theyre kids i think. the child part doesnt seem to be a big part of the game other than to give you some perspective

i would have marked it as a spoiler, but its not really, it happens right at the beginning of the game

never even knew about it lol, they should have put an advertisement up on the ps store or something. i woul have signed up.. oh well

i made a AAAAA game the other day, it took me about 15 minutes, if anyone wants to buy it contact me.

it had a very large budget, like incredibly large. the amount of currency that i spent on developing this project could literally be stacked from the earth to the moon.

really? could you give a number to that? seems unambiguous to me, any game can have this term applied to it, it has no definition

5105d ago 1 agree6 disagreeView comment

quantify, please. huge is unambiguous, it can mean anything when you dont describe its relativity, and even then, its still not exact.

its a marketing term, it means what an advertiser wants it to mean because theres no standard that can be applied to it - no one has strictly defined this, sure gamers want it to mean that a game will be good, but there are no guarantees. it doesnt even mean that there will be a budget of $10 million, it hasnt been quantified, anyone can put t...

companies do get away with their unnecessary cash ins, thats why they do them. enough people must want to be reamed in the butt because more often then not consumers are paying for this pleasure

thats exactly what i dont want to see happen. see what tomb raider was? really open. really bad. i barely got through the first parts of the game, kept hoping it was going to get better. frustrated the hell out of me just swimming around without knowing anything about what i was supposed to be doing.

this 'tech' can be built by anyone, all you need is a cheap projector (obviously the better the projector the better the image that you see, but for what theyre showing here a $25 projector would probably work fine) a $10 webcam and a computer.

the webcam sees the blank piece of paper placed over a piece of plastic covering the top of a cardboard box. when you put your finger on the paper a shadow appears and is transmitted as a "touch"
