Yeah, I'm not really like "woooo, boxing!", so I was surprised by how into it I got. Still, you share a lot of games with your family, right? Can't imagine all the Ms. Meeps being really glad this hit their respective iDevices.
It's very casual - I can see myself sharing it with my nephew. Light fare = diet gaming? I don't think you'd enjoy it.
I totally missed that - I must've still been reeling from the cost of my beautiful lucky strikes?
I'm a big supporter of the local Girl Scouts?
"oh but did you find the +5 power gloves that happen to be free? (glitch me things ^.-)"
No!! Must have!
It's true, i really appreciate that the games I'm playing that at first glance could be called Flight Control Version _____ are really expanding on the gameplay. I'm serious kicking that d-bag Sea Captain in the shins next time I see him...you know, down at the docks. Or whatever.
It's fun for what it is, and I'm keeping it on my phone if only to try and top your high score! But, it seems the devs are already "over it"? Like with the other games of the week - Harbor Master, Minigrim - the devs are still really vested in those games with updates, content, etc. I think 8lb Gorilla is already onto their next venture?
"There's just something lame about having to send a friend a message to find out what his high score is, and how you stack up." That was for you, buddy!!
"I hear 8lb won't do an update for this game unless it gets in the top 10 list... but I do believe they are hard at work for game number 2." This is what killed me. I've seen on their Twitter things like "tell your friends to buy the game, then we'll do leaderboards". How about they do leaderbo...
haha, you win, I just found that post and was coming here to post it!! multi-colored cargo would be...insane.
They seem to keep adding harbors, and they really listen to feedback so I think anything (they're considering adding real achievements) is possible.
Endless spiral FTW, right? Much better than the suicides maneuver, left-right-left-right...
I think I like Flight Control enough that I really want to consider it the birth of a genre. Harbor Control is just the next in that genre! Next...LA Traffic Watch?
No wonder I was able to submit it!! I went all the way through submission then saw Meep's in pending wondered why I was able to use the URL. Sneaky meep... ;)
What I played was what they sent for approval, so if everything goes smoothly I would expect the game to hit store within a week's time, right?
@meep: yeah, I really love the game's style, which is the only real drawback to the dual-stick situation: I never felt ambushed by the Furries, but I couldn't help but want to see more of the game, it looks so cool!
Yes, the Time Challenge is the last thing I go after!
I've gotten a kick out of Mr. Scruff since his Fish days ( http://www.dailymotion.com/... ). Like Rolando he just has...spunk? I dunno, I revel in the quirk.
It would make trips to Wal-Mart more fun, but in a relatively small town I think I'd run out of Wi-Fi :(
I even made Adam try Sector 15 w/ me last night - 4 hands!!! Failed experiment, but worth a shot. ZT had me snap the screens for the story and I think they're appropriately of dying, dying, dead...!
Hey, enjoy your new phone, Syko - it took you a couple years before you jumped ship for Sony (R.I.P. 360 #6?), Apple will wait for you, too. ;)
If you did pick up an iPhone, you'd love the brutality of this game.
Even cooler - lots of good indie games! We're so chic
"How about building 4 walls around your sim and watching them starve or do the same with their baby!"
Stop feeding Jack Thompson! ;)
It's really a blast to play, more fun than the 360/PS3 versions - and yes, this review made possible by my new Wii!
And I blame sending kids to school during prime daylight hours, or people living in places like Cleveland where the sun don't shine! Also like this line "The researchers also blamed the low vitamin D levels on children using sunscreen when they do go outdoors"
Need to get the story straight, should we lather up with sunscreen and send the kiddies to school or all move to Florida and hit the beach? If the latter, we're all bringing our handhelds.
