this game looks gorgeous. i just wish it wasn't riddled with gorgeous shots of snake's old man butt. ;)
dev didn't "decide to make it fair", they screwed up/fps probems. it's great you're okay with it, and most of us seem to be ho-hum about it. still means i want them to fix it, and stop feeding us b.s. why don't you want them to fix it? in the interest of "fairness"? what is this, socialist gaming?
this answer is lame. they need to own up and fix the problem. i've got the game and no it doesn't ruin gameplay but yeah, it's shortchanged. just fix it!! why should we have to get by b/c they have frame rate issues?
this still amounts to rumorville to me, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was released on the PS3. As others have mentioned, it uses the unreal engine (multi-platform), which could explain it. last fall the game was declared 360/pc exclusive, but exclusivity is pretty nebulus anymore.
the release of the rumble controller has been (and will have been, by the time this is confirmed) a long time coming. they've acquired the rights to the tech, so why wouldn't they use it?
i'm not going to return the game. they'll fix it with a patch - hopefully soon. like, yesterday soon.

universal is getting tons of money to support hd dvd; the only way they would be "considering going blu ray" is if blu ray was "considering" giving them even more money. If it means securing the prevalence of the superior format, i hope blu ray forks over some cash.
why does the wii keep getting rewarded for a gimmick? i maintain, it's a fun system but it shouldn't even be ranked as next gen. honestly, i'm still feeling insulted that they made me a new gamecube with a remote (fondly know as the wii stick).

er, that was lame. and it's the stuff that makes chick gamers feel lost in a pervert's world. the demo itself is a much better display of the game's physics - in the game she doesn't drunkenly sway her hips so much as she dishes out crushing blows. bit more fun.
i don't need to play the demo, the game will be great. i want to play demos for games i'm not sure i should pick up, or if it's a new franchise.
and i don't care if we can't transfer weapons. i left a box sitting on my controller for four hours to get the RYNO and that was useless in the next game. I didn't need them to let me have it, they had better weapons ready!
i think everyone knows by now that whining about developing for the ps3 is just dev laziness; EA isn't exactly industry standard for work ethics. or they shouldn't be.
R&C:ToD looks amazing. And as long as we're including games that have yet to be released, Uncharted looks pretty good, too -- but it seemed like the article focused on shooters??
Bioshock looks good, I'll definitely pick that up, but if you're skipping one of the best game franchises ever (R&C) b/c you're too much of a fanboy well that's just bad gaming.
having already seen some really great stuff on the PS3, I look forward to seeing where devs can go from here as they learn the ins and outs.
(aside @ Fanboi: if games are having frame rate issues, that goes back to the devs, not the power of the system. for example, Bioshock on the 360. I'm not blaming the 360 for the cropping of the game to avoid frame rate probs, i blame the developers.)
