Update: This is more likely a translation error so this still opens the possibility of the game coming to PC at a later date.
I missed the part where they said it was "the end" of portables for Sony. They probably should have though. And even if they had, how the hell is that "cowardly"? You do realize this a business, right?
Kind of hard to gauge this game after finishing God of War and Spider-man back to back. I'm hopeful for yet another excellent Sony first party game, but Bend doesn't have the pedigree of Insomniac or Santa Monica so trying to keep my expectations realistic.
Sony did not remove the emulator that came with the 80 GB PS3. Models following the 80 GB simply no longer had that feature, but if you have a fully updated 80 GB model CECHE01 today then you can still play *most* PS2 games on it (not all PS2 games worked). The launch PS3s had full PS2 BC via hardware while the 80 GB had partial BC via emulation.
PS4 is totally different architecture from the Cell. PS5 will be AMD just like PS4. I don't see your pattern going any fu...
This doesn't change anything and I'll be shocked if PS5 doesn't have BC. Sony might as well hand over the next gen to Xbox if PS5 cannot play PS4 games. I just don't think Sony is that stupid.

lol.....you can't help yourself, can you? Disney/Marvel and Sony have formed a great working relationship. It is in the best interest of ALL involved to keep it that way. This isn't a one-way street no matter how much you would like to pretend it is.

It would have rated that anyway. It is heavy on action and violence. Is the word "shit" really worth a mention when you are getting shot at with rocket launchers and flinging people off of buildings? It is just a word.
