What? Their analysis is figurative?!? Oh bullshit, man. Don't give me "they aren't being literal". They are not being competent! They never even mention that there are games that have cross play between PS4 and PC. They say flat out: "NO CROSSPLAY". And PC is just as viable a platform for crossplay as Switch or Xbox. A fact that is often missed around here.
Agree. The side missions didn't do much for me. The research stations were a bit campy. Seems just about every station discovered a huge problem JUST as Spider-man happened to arrive.....and he had only minutes to avert disaster. sigh......those missions could have just been left out to me, a la less is more. I really enjoyed the base missions though. Very cool that they were replayable. I would have given the game a 90, but 87 is a great score either way.

Glad to hear that Marvel is dedicated to making some great games just like they are making great movies. Spider-man was the perfect way to kick off the MGU.

Is this guy serious? Sony delivered God of War and Spider-man this year. They have Days Gone coming early next year as well as more games upcoming with Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima, and, TLOU2. Oh....and Marvel has already said Sony and Insomniac are the future of the Spider-man franchise.

You assume it would be amazing if it were multiplat. Spider-man has been down that road before with Activision and there has been nothing 'amazing' about those games. While Insomniac has been clear about the support they received from Marvel and Sony in the making of this game was key to its success. THAT is the point.

If the game is good then I'll buy it. I'm like you though. I'm not going to get hung up on optional transactions. And if I somehow decided that I wanted to buy something in-game.....I'm still trying to figure out why that matters to anyone else.

Folks can spin their wheels on this stuff all they want. I'm certainly not stopping them. I just don't see the point in dissecting images and references that may or may not actually be in the final game. To each their own.

That is pretty amazing. Nice job from Insomniac, Sony, and Marvel. That team made one hell of a game.
Oh....and I have no idea where you are getting this "temptation" thing from. The man in the golden mask yanks the lion-ish thing out of the air and says he just has to "not get eaten". Does that really sound like a form of "temptation" to you?
