Wow. At the end of the article, they actually stepped up and listed times Nintendo copied Sony as well. That is pretty damn refreshing.
The side missions did not have much meat on them, I'll grant that. I've finished all of them and they were not bad, just a bit shallow. I don't agree that they needed to affect the main story as that kind of thing is usually just a gimmicky illusion anyway where the main story happens just as it would have anyway.

I'd be more convinced that BC really mattered if Xbox One were not continuing to run last in NPD. Unfortunately, the fact that a nine year old game appearing on the list is the highlight for Xbox One this month isn't exactly what I would call a resounding endorsement of the console.

I think he means this is a new take on Spider-man much like the 2013 Tomb Raider was a new take on that franchise. New IP is wrong as that has a broader meaning than what he is saying.

Yeah, I am enjoying Spider-man more than the Batman games overall. The combat is just so much richer and the game is going to let you get your ass kicked until you start figuring out how to fight and use gadgets and vertical attacks. Batman.....I could counter every attack throw at me without much effort. It was still fun, but not very challenging or as deep.
Sure.....nothing wrong waiting on a sale. That's exactly why I'm waiting on TR. If the reviews were a slam dunk then I might have had to rethink my fall game line-up. But as it is, TR made it easy for me to hold off.
