Wow real time reflection in the puddles...not even crysis 2 have that.
prerendered videos would cost more storage space actually, but they require good rendering hardware to look good. Vita has that department covered.
@malyn that's not the issue. The real issue is devs are beginning to try to cater more and more to the lazy/stupid gamers who for example can't even be bothered to press a button to bring up a PDA to view objectives so some started to do things like write in big bright bold letters on the walls telling you what to do like "WALK THROUGH THIS DOOR" or "SHOOT THIS GUY DERP DERP"
How come nobody remembers one important feature ...and that is the ammo count system of the original BF2???
Even if these arn't launch titles, they forgot Resistance and Killzone.
I can't help but feel that jets would make little sense in a rush game and screw up the balance.
I saw in the tank gameplay where a tank gets smoked and the crew just crawled out. I thought it looked scripted, but maybe it's hinting at the immobilize thing?
I don't feel that Codemasters put in as much passion in for F1 games as Liverpool. For exemple Liverpool took the time and effort to model and texture the different racing wheels individually, while Codemasters retextured the same racing wheel model and put it in all the cars. Plus the old F1 games had classic and track unlocks, while all F1 2009 and F1 2010 had were achievements.
probably in five years
They had this years ago where you'd stream the game onto your psp from your ps3 so you see and control the game on your psp. now if they do the same thing plus all the touch and motion sensing that'll bascaially be what the wii u's doing, besides the fact that PSV also functions as its own dedicated gamming device.
no it just means the infantry area is restricted while aircraft gets more access.
In conquest mode all you need to do to maintain air superiority is secure the outpost with the VADS AA gun on maps that have it. That thing brings down helicopters in less than 2 seconds. That's why you need some coordination between ground troops and CAS.
It seems like you made that interview with little if no prior knowledge on the device...
he's referring to the devs "streamlining for the masses," you know "streamlining" depth out of games bit by bit. I can't help but feel the same. This generation of gamers have gotten so lazy the Splinter Cell devs are writing in big bright bold letters on the walls what you need to do because they think some ppl can't even be bothered to press a button to bring up a PDA or something, and it's only getting worse. I'm not even that old of a gamer(started...
this wouldn't have been so bad a news if they didn't limit the squad sizes to four men. If a squad gets a grenadier, a marksman, a support gunner, and AT, suddenly it's got no medic...
uncharted killzone resistance cod bioshock etc
It's healthy for the industry to bring up a bit of competition. if everybody likes both and buys both systems then what's the point of innovation?
Only thing that'll put everyone's wories to rest, with exception of some console players: mod tools. and none of that engine's too complex bull cr@p. if someone cares enough they'll figure it out and put in the effort. too bad it proly wont happen because of a certain business practice ARGH!!!!
I remember reading some previews a couple of days back and a lot of them were surprised at how Bend nailed those things even though it isn't their brainchild.
Psp games suffered at $39.99 so people pirate the games which makes them suffer even more. vicious cycle.
