@Half-Mafia
That's why they make the consoles. How much did you think it cost to run even Xbox 360 visuals on a computer when the 360 first launched?
problem is there wont be enough money for anyone to make anymore awesome shooters if everyone's money keeps going to the crappy shooter.
they've added real time reflections on metal and marble tables, but still kept the obvious fake reflections on glass and water. What gives? can they ever get their priorities straight?
The amount of graphical upgrade this gives isn't really worth the performance hit it gives IMO. Playing through the first couple of levels I only really noticed the POM, exaggerated depth of field in cutscenes some tessellation here and there. I. After changing the settings between high and ultra back and forth a couple of times and looking really closely at the shadows I noticed some differences in the shadows too. Some reflections are really only noticeable on some metallic tables. Wate...
He's right man, just play the classic psp games on the vita when it comes out. They'll look better and get 2 analog stick support.
Is the parallax occlusion mapping usable with anisotropic filtering this time around?
@AtiElite
Sounds like what gaming used to be like. Those were the days. Sadly those days are long gone. Why support an old game when you can sell a new game every year? you know everyone in the community will buy it anyway.
I spent around $200 on my HD5850(graphics card) 3 years ago and it still runs every new game thrown at it smooth as butter. Gotta thank in part the stagnating video game graphics because of consoles though.

These are the people who can't see that they're being ripped off, like paying 15 bucks for couple of skins or maps, or never stop to wonder why some of their DLC is only a couple of kilobytes of data. Publishers get away with sh*ttin on their faces, they sh*t even more the next time, and then it goes on, and on. Then simple things like pressing a button to bring up objectives gets too challenging for these people, so the developers feel the need to "streamline" and do stuff ...
pretty sure it sold better than Colin Mcrae though. I can't imagine much people over here getting into a game that Colin Mcrae was
I loved Colon Mcrae, but i didn't care for the pointless omission of the restart option.
Because it is supposed to be the spiritual successor to the Colin Mcrae series. Poor man's probably crying in his grave now.
Lol I don't follow rally nearly as much as I follow F1.
Lol, the idea of putting in more American appeal did work in their favor. I don't care for all the rallycross and xgames stuff but I can see how they make the series more popular with the American market.
awwww... so this isn't Monaco GP track. Funny the other day I was playing Colin Mcrae and thought to myself "how cool would it be if I drove this on Monte Carlo lol. And how come there are no pace notes?
I just looked at my stats in BFBC2 the other day. My best class was recon, and its with the type 88 and a red dot sight, and that is after I unlocked every piece of equipment. So I'd say i went all out rambo with the recon kit. C4 and arty takes care of armor for me, and if I get hit, I'll just chill somewhere and have my health heal up by itself without a medic just fine.
Hew didn't comment on the commander mode and 4 player squad limit, which to me is more important than the number of classes.
Project Reality for BF2 made the gameplay in a way that made me wish for a body drag system. Well I guess it shouldn't matter in this case since all it takes is a quick defib standing up and the dead guy would be back to full health immediately anyways, if BFBC2 is any indication.
That's because it hasn't got much going on under the hood.
