I'm not sure whether that's a typo or something coming later this month, but nowhere in the article does it state or show Tales of Arise except for the headline.
The game was already on Game Pass last year IIRC.
@CrimsonWing69 People didn't want a European medieval setting from a game called Final Fantasy.
The game's top review on Steam:
"They are literally deleting reviews.
There were over 7K+ reviews as of 03/02/2024 morning and currently it's down to 1.7K.
Shameful."
They get surprisingly honest when their review copy isn't free.
Maybe I'm getting old too, but to me they showed nothing new fundamentally. This generation is really just an extension of PS4's with fancier graphics.
Syria. Obama's record was on Syria.
Most of the data is returning players not new. The new mode just doesn't hold their attention.
They were banking on Saudi money. When the Saudi Government backed down everything fell apart.
They'll be great once they're released and are actually good.
So if we're getting into religious conversation on a gaming website, what do you think of your Christian brethren who call Jesus God?
Because always online can be easily circumvented for single-player games. You only need the connection for authentication and events—the authentication can be faked or bypassed entirely, and the events will be simply absent.
Always online isn't a good method for protecting games against piracy. It's more useful for data collection and streamlining events.
Where would they get experience from, though? Developing games is no easy task.
The entire concept of the game just doesn't work for live-service. But people have already made their minds up and want to see it fail regardless of its quality. It's like the people who kept trashing Cyberpunk after launch without playing it, but now are praising the things that have always been there (the story, characters, dialogue, world, etc.). Though, I doubt Suicide Squad would have a similar moment.
Since the guy correctly leaked the date, the games he mentioned might be true.
Stellar Blade
Rise of the Ronin
Death Stranding 2
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
Sonic Generations Remaster
Silent Hill 2
Until Dawn Remaster
New Metro game
Judas
IGN got an axe to grind now that they didn't get a free copy to review the game.
Still the 4th most played game on Steam averaging 250K.
The 7900XT is 2% faster on average across 25 games—a negligible difference. It's 20% slower in Ray Tracing. You're losing DLSS and Frame Generation as well, which are arguably better features than what AMD offers. Not to mention that Nvidia cards can use any upscaling whether it's DLSS, FSR, or XeSS so you're covered regardless of what the devs choose to implement.
The only thing going for it is extra 4GB of VRAM. And AMD cards are known to age better so as...
'If you dislike a story you lack the intelligence' logical fallacy.
They want to be a good publisher on all platforms. Selling Xbox consoles doesn't matter in their grand strategy.
You're definitely not the target audience for Game Pass, Elda.
