Ah that's great haha.
If you're "literally" doing that then you should go see a doc ASAP. Kidding aside, me too!
Damn they didn't send me anything. What day did they let you know?
I've been using my turtle beach px5's (5.1 with 7.1 emulation) and I had the same problem. I bypassed dolby with the px5 transmitter and now I can tell exactly where all sounds come from. I dunno what sound setup your using but you might want to mess with your settings.
It sounds like when you played xcom you may have had another game on your mind the whole time. That's unfortunate because xcom is some of the best strategy you'll find.
You also have to consider developers who are still on the fence about making a game for the Oculus.
They may look at this price and the minimum system requirements (which are above the avg. pc-owner's specs) and assume like a lot of people that this is going to hurt the early user base. That in turn could mean less games for it which would only hurt sales further.
I'm guessing the Vive will be at least a little cheaper than the Oculus and the PSVR may...
Yep I've been lucky as well. I think I've only been DC'ed one time since launch and that's after playing over 80 hours, random times day or night. Nevertheless, I frequent the ubi rb6 forums and see a lot of people complaining about it so it must be a pretty common issue.
Yep it was frickun great.
Yep I neeeed in the beta - but not enough to pay for one of the higher-tier packages.
"every successful kill or win is bloodborne/dark souls tense"
Great comparison there. I've had so many encounters similar to the heart-pounding moments in BB and DS.
Like you said they are the 'devs that never sleep'. Ive owned it on PC for a while and these guys are easily some of the most dedicated devs I have ever seen. The frequency of updates (and meaningful ones no less) puts several AAA devs to shame.
If you want something like Call of Duty (no judgement here) return it. But if you want something different, that involves thinking and patience keep RB6. I love it personally. Moments of quiet and anticipation interrupted suddenly when all hell breaks loose gives me a rush everytime.
There is bondage written all over that face. He thrives on tasers but more specifically scrotum-taser-shock for pleasure.
Yeh Super Mario 64 absolutely made my world when it came out. There's was nothing like it. Miyamoto is a living legend but I wish (and maybe even he does too) that he could just simply makes games again. The man is burdened with a plethora of responsibilities these days.
And this is the kind of thing as I've grown older that makes me question how much the internet is actually a negative piece of evolution, i.e. devolution in our society. Everyone has a voice these days, but most people should be muted.
There used to generally be 1 village idiot per village before our time but now thanks to basic anonymity everyone can splooge their dumbassery at people whenever the mood hits them.

No doubt Sony will continue to take this approach with their next console. Mark Cerny is a smart man.
Yeh this bugs me. Sagat has always been one of my bread n butter characters. Always loved pissing off my Zangief-playing friend with Sagat's slow or fast and high or low tiger shots. Even if he's considered overlap he just has too much history to be cut loose like this.
Yep Im a grown man with a general jaded feeling towards "scary" stuff but had several occasions where I actually had to look away from my tv when I realized I was found. Still havent finished the game even though I loved it. The STRESS... so good but damn it's rough on the old heart.
I lol'ed at the title alone. It'll take an entire restructuring of ubisoft and it's devs for an Assassin's Creed game to ever be considered for GOTY by me. I haven't loved an AC game since 1 and 2.
Well damn I wanna be your friend too.
