Good point and so true that MMOs get a pass because "fun with friends". DMV with friends is a great analogy. I try a new mmo now and again with friends but it always ends up being the same situation with every game.
The genre needs a swift kick in the ass to change things up or it may eventually go the way of the dodo bird.
Daredevil could totally take her in a fight.
I seem to remember one of the WW2 Call of Dutys doing the regenerative health first. It was a nice change at the time but its grown old ESPECIALLY in multiplayer games.
Some indies are obviously innovative but then there are others that are just spitting out retro stuff just because its easier, requires little thought on their part, and people are still eating it up.
You will ride eternal, shiny and chrome!
You see this kind of thing happen to a lot of people who instantly become super wealthy. Ive seen a lot of similar stories about people who won the lottery.
It's true he has no one to blame but himself but in all fairness I doubt anyone in his shoes could have turned down that much money.
The possibility of a cel shaded vr game never even occurred to me. That sounds like a surreal experience!
Yeh 13 imo is a stain on the franchise. Big FF fan but man that game was such a linear letdown. It just doesnt deserve a remaster.
Yeh Bay really butchered my childhood with his TF movies.
Bethesda could keep themselves financed off of you alone!
Ah yes the Golf War. That was the terrible war where Kuwait was hoarding putters and golf balls.
Im gonna have to plow through Until Dawn to make sure I have an empty palette for MGS. My favorite series of all time is about to have its grand finale.
"no more cramps no more painful wrists "
Be honest, was it a controller causing that or some private excessive activity? ;) Its ok I was young once too!
Man we need a new Mercenaries game.
Yeh it being forced is the potential problem. I actually found its use kind of akward in infamous 2 but it may have just been because I wasnt used to it yet.
Ive got 'yur back on this. I also played the alpha and loved it. What you say is true about not having to play with communicating friends. I was extremely surprised how everyone just got it no matter what random people I played with. Without having to say anything teammates would set their breach charges off as soon as they heard yours and everyone would follow in.
I had a lot of fun with it and its a definite buy for me.
After seeing an overall sameness in regards to framerates in test reviews I went ahead and upgraded yesterday. Its nice to just have something new especially since I stayed with windows 7 after 8 came out and so far the jump to 10 has been pain-free and Im enjoying the new features.
Cant wait to see what dx12 brings to games given the previews of performance gains.
All Dishonored 2 needs to do to "survive the modern market climate" is be itself. The first one was a fantastic surprise and it's obvious the devs didnt just get lucky because it just had way too many great things going for it. Ive got total faith in them with the sequel.
Mmm need my Buffout fix.
