Has any game that's already out been in 1080p? I mean I know a bunch will upscale to that, but I mean real resolution.

Sorry, I didn't realize we were talking about graphics. I was talking about gameplay mechanics. The only one I don't think is a good match is Halo with Resistance, they have vastly different gameplay mechanics in their campaigns, but more similar in their online gameplay. I agree. But that doesn't have any bearing on whether one game will be delayed from its release date. Haze is still coming out soon despite a terrible launch window between GTA IV and MGS4.
I honestly think that they put too much effort in to just be completely making sh*t up. They're never really THAT far off, either, and a lot of the discrepencies are tied to places that they claim to gather information from that nobody else gathers info from, like Mexico, Australia, China, the majority of Europe, etc.
I mean, VGChartz has some good technology in their website, a nice layout, hefty servers, a lot of members, and regular updates, with generally close to accurate...
The two games are nothing at all alike and have nothing to do with each other.
They don't even bother to put PS3 exclusives on the list? The first of the two lists contianed 7 non-exclusive games. And Spyro was above Metal Gear Solid 4? WHAT!?

Gears 2 and Killzone 2 aren't even in competition, man. One game is a 2008 title, one's a 2009 title. This game is to Gears of War 2 what Call of Duty 4 was to Gears 1, if you will.

I really didn't expect the game to look this good. The impressions I've read at IGN and GameSpot definitely don't hype it up as much as I personally would. And I didn't even get to play it. Just a decent-quality videostream and I can tell these graphics are incredible. The assault rifle looks so freaking realistic during reload, it's insane.

Wow. This game looks incredible. I hadn't been following it before, but this has just amped up my interest.
Anybody who thinks they know how how the graphics in this game are based on this video is a fool. You can't tell a damn thing from this video it's such poor quality. That, and it's only multiplayer footage, no chimera shown, nothing. And it's a work in progress.
Wait til they at least release an HD video of this. Then wait some more until you see the final thing to pass full judgment.

I agree with this review. First one I've areed with. The gameplay is identical in the majority of ways to GTA III. The cell phone is a nice addition, there's some good new stuff in there, but it's all very minor. Absolutely awful idea. Please don't alienate your fanbase by releasing an "improved console" that makes the old ones mostly obsolete. I don't want to see games coming out that say "360" on the box but won't play in my current Xbox 360. If this happens, you can bet your ass I'll be boycotting your newer model.

R:FoM was an awesome game, but I found it to be very difficult. I beat Halo 3 on Legendary no problem. I still haven't even been able to beat the second to last level of R:FoM on Normal. Damn.

To all fanboys claiming one version looks better than another and making comparison videos and other BS... let me just give you something of an anecdote: I have the game for 360, and sometimes the game looks beautiful, and sometimes it looks downright hideous. Sometimes the framerate is slow as a chug, sometimes it's smooth as a baby's bum. Sometimes there's entire scenes popping-in, and other times I can drive through the whole game world for half an hour and there's no pop-in. Sometimes...
This guy underestimates the appeal of Wii to parents and how they'll continue to buy it for their children rather than the more expensive and more generally adult-oriented consoles like PS3 and 360. Also, the senior citizen factor.
I think he's wrong about PS3 as well, but that takes a lot longer to prove my point. But anybody who can't see how the Wii is blowing the competition out of the water is a blind damn fool.
