Halo 3? Was it really? That's lame. I loved the game (for about a month), but Call of Duty 4 was waaaaaaaaaaay better, and a multiplatform, so it is approachable for PC owners, PS3 owners, 360 owners... definitely should have been that before Halo 3. If they picked Halo 3, in my opinion that's just that much more evidence of them being in MS's pocket.

No shock at all from me. Did anybody notice how they've given absolutely no attention to the new gameplay footage of Killzone 2 and Resistance 2? They just let it slide like it doesn't exist, not only do they not post 720p versions, but they don't post them at all. Period. No comparisons to Resistance 1, no analysis, nothing. And yet, the same day they show the Gears 2 gameplay footage, they go balls to the wall with all kinds of crazy analyses and so forth.
That game looks really fun. Picking up a bad guy and using him as a shield then snapping his neck and tossing him overboard? I like it.
It reminds me of the train level at the end of Gears 1, with all the moving and stuff, butt he boss is definitely cooler than the boss at the end of the 5th act in Gears 1. That boss was lame.

Very nice. The only thing I thought was bad about P3 were the anime cutscenes. They were just, in general, poorly drawn and poorly animated. This opening is a vast improvement, for sure. Other than that, P3 was an amazing game, and I'm of course very excited to play P4.
Killzone 2 will be stunning and amazing, and it'll get universally mild reviews in the 70-80 range. That's my prediction. They'll say the level design isn't innovative and the AI isn't good enough. Well, I own a 360 and a PS3.
If I had any patience, I'd likely not own a 360, knowing what I know now. I went with 360 when Oblivion came out because at the time it was much cheaper to buy a 360 than to buy a PC to be able to play it. And that was a game I simply had to play. So I don't regret my decision to purchase a 360, but at the same time I harbor disdain for Microsoft in many areas.

Well, I hated Viva Pinata, Kameo, and Perfect Dark, but of those games, I'd like to see another Perfect Dark game. Because Perfect Dark was just botched, it had the potential to be excellent: I loved the N64 game.
