I really think they ought to have waited on this until we've played half the games on the list. Many of these games are not even out yet. And they give the most favorable odds to GTA IV, but maybe people will be sick of it and not have as glowing an impression about it by the end of the year after playing other brilliant games like MGS4, Gears 2, and LittleBigPlanet and Fallout 3.

I don't know if this is reliable information. He didn't provide scans, and some of the other information that he provided in his post has already been confirmed false and made up.
I would've put SUPER METROID and/or CASTLEVANIA SYMPHONY OF THE NIGHT somewhere on the list. And definitely not Tecmo Super Bowl.
First of all, Mass Effect is a good game, but not a great game. I haven't played it on PC, but on 360 it had quite a number of graphical flaws & annoying loading times, but it had fun gameplay. If you're looking for a great story, you won't find it, it's a rather shallow story, but it has some very very well developed characters, so that's a good quality. It's a game I enjoyed, but have no desire to ever play again, and it was very short for an "RPG". Took me 35 hours to 100...
Yeah, I know how you feel. I'm going back to school in July to attempt to finally get a college degree (i've dropped out of 2 different universities now, hopefully third time's a charm!) and all these games (Disgaea 3, Socom, Resistance 2, LittleBigPlanet, ohmygod) are going to make for a pretty tough couple of months to hunker down and do my schoolwork.

for the guy who said "never doesn't mean sh!t" ... This isn't evidence of that, or support of your statement. BIOSHOCK was always supposed to be coming to PS3, it just had a major hiccup that prevented it from coming out. Now, it's coming out after all. SO, yippee-kai-ay and all that junk. But yeah, this was never meant to be any kind of an exclusive, they're just living up to their original announcement by releasing it for PS3.
I loved Bioshock. I can understand why people didn't like it. for one, it was either REALLY EASY, or REALLY HARD. Even on the hardest difficulty, it was still extremely easy, the only way to make it a challenge was to go through it without using vita-chambers. Load it up every time you die, instead of using the vita-chambers. The vita-chambers made the game ridiculously easy. So that kind of sucked. But other than the level of difficulty (again, either VERY EASY or VERY HARD, no in bet...
I've heard rumors that they've been hard at work on another Zelda. Maybe that?
This game just isn't exciting to me at all. If it turns out to have a really revolutionary and fun vehicle construction/customization gameplay then I'll check it out, but the direction they're taking the franchise, the art style, the gameplay videos I've seen, none of it looks interesting to me. They basically took all the stuff I wanted in a new Banjo game and did the opposite. I hope it doesn't turn out to be a grave mistake on their part.
I, for one, enjoyed the demo, and I'm not a graphics whore. I watched a video review and the graphics weren't very good, but they hardly rendered it unplayable, either. Still looks decent enough. The story is interesting to me, and I don't understand why so many reviews cite the story, saying "it's awful" or whatever. I'm not a kid, but this game looks awesome to me. It's cute, for one thing. The graphics are incredibly high-quality, clean and neat. How could the creative aspect of this game not appeal to you? I don't get it.
This game will last years and years and years and people will be sharing quality user-created content all that time into the future.
