Indeed. Perfect Dark Zero was a real stinker in my opinion. I didn't even buy it at 60. I got it when it was like 20, and I didn't even think it was worth that.
And what about his 7.5 for Ratchet & Clank Future? He didn't save anyone any money on that one, instead he cost them a whole lot of fun by convincing them not to get a stellar game.

There were 120 million PS2s announced as sold in September 2007.
MGS3 came out 3 years before that. It has also never been reissued as a greatest hits game and it went out of print for a long time until they released Subsistence, which was rather limited and was also out of print until recently when they released the essential collection.

Part of the problem here is that I personally know a lot of people who bought Gears 1 because of the hype and because QUITE FRANKLY the 360 didn't have a very good library up until Gears came out and nothing particularly good had come out for the 360 in months leading up to Gears. Watch more videos. LittleBigPlanet is more 2.5D, you can move in more than just the x & y axes. There is a z axes of depth as well, but it's not very prominent. Watch some of the videos where you see things being placed in front of and behind other things, and the sackboys going behind or in front of various objects.

After playing Hot Shots Golf Out of Bounds, I can't use the traditional swing style anymore. I need the new Advanced one. This game doesn't have that from what I've read, so I don't know if I could enjoy it. Maybe I'll try it out, I dunno.

I don't recall any Playstation units catching people's houses on fire. That HAS happened with both Xbox and Xbox 360. Rare, but it's happened.
The 360 has had a lot of failure problems, too, which is kind of breaking an unspoken promise to deliver a quality, working product to your customers. I'm not going to say that Sony has lived up to every expectation either, but Microsoft doesn't have a perfect track record, Nintendo doesn't have a perfect track record, nobody does.

Quite frankly, I'm getting sick of reading about this guy. He opens his mouth way too frequently, every day there's more fodder coming from him that we get to read about. I can't wait until every web site and magazine on the planet has interviewed him so that we can get a reprieve for a while.

Ikaruga, Rez, Sin & Punishment, Alien Soldier, these are all rather rare games that I own originals of and now they've been released either on XBLA or the Wii VC. When are the rare games that I do NOT own going to get a release on these download services? I want to play SUIKODEN 2!
I'm definitely hoping for some co-op modes. I hope they can create some unique vs. modes as well as opposed to the typical CTF, Zones, Death Match stuff that you see everywhere. I dunno exactly what, but I hope they can come up with something unique.
Even if they can't, though, the game looks like a hollywood blockbuster blast, and it has amazing graphics. I'll play it for sure.
