Capcom = "Dead Rising dev"?
Slightly odd there. Maybe the "Megaman dev" or "RE dev"... but "Dead Rising dev"?

"Mystery Sequel"

Where's the mystery? All you're guessing is what's getting a sequel sooner than the rest. Here's some Nintendo titles that probably already have sequels in the works:

-Zelda (a new one will be announced shortly I'm sure)
-Metroid (already in the works)
-Mario (you think they're stopping at Galaxy?)
-Super Smash Bros (they're not stopping at the next one)
-Paper Mario
-Animal Crossing
-Harvest Mo...

Gotta agree there. Both sides have thrown around the "PC" comments now, and invited this.

There are some parts of the article that are just plain stupid- saying Windows XP is overrated for example. When XP launched, it revolutionized Windows. It could fix itself (sometimes), it didn't screw up and need reformatting weekly (98/ME), and a lot of its features actually worked like they were supposed to this time (Plug-n-Play on XP is usually a dream compared to older OSs)...

Sony (and the US government) confirm that the PS3 cannot output rumble. It:
1) Literally DOES NOT output any rumble signal.
2) Due to the lawsuit Sony lost to Immersion, if PS3 did output rumble, it would be illegal to sell.

So no, PS3 does not output rumble, nor will it ever.

A screenshot from an original Xbox game, versus PS3. Great job, DJ.

Not to mention the picture lets you know it's from a Beta version on the bottom. Real nice.

What's next, posting a picture of an F1 game from the Windows 3.1 days and saying "is that the best MS can do"? Wouldn't put it past you.

There wouldn't be a delay at all if they weren't remaking the game for the US launch.

They should've just gotten it right in the first time, and shipped the complete version to both territories instead of screwing the US with delays AND screwing Japan with the incomplete version.

What's next, a re-delay with more features for Europe?

Very cool idea. Very cool cars.

This is Treyarch's fault, not Microsoft's. We've been through this one before- clear issues are happening which demand fixes, and the dev is just too lazy to do the work.

Look at Bethesda. In Oblivion, I think they STILL havan't fixed the crashing Daedric quest that's been known since the game launched.

Vote with your wallets and your complaints, people. Don't buy the pack until it's fixed if you're reading this beforehand. Complain to 1-800-4-MY-XBOX in the US. ...

To the dev team:
At least get the dragons right this time, mmkay? And if you have a completely finished weapons class in the game (Scimitars were COMPLETELY finished and still on the disc- they just weren't in any shops or spawn points), please put them in the game before you ship.

Fable was awesome, but a lot went wrong that doesn't need repeating.

The worry is that an unrelated but seeming relatable problem may occur that you could be voided for (and this applies to any console).

For example: What if your PS3's video output port fails due to internal issues, but you happened to have had a 3rd party cable attached?

From all I've seen, Microsoft and Nintendo seem to be graet about replacing damaged consoles for pretty much any reason. I personally do not know how Sony handles this. If they happen to have a p...

Two titles have been alowed to break the limit (unless I'm missing something): Lumines and Castlevania.

And in both cases, it was because the developers had specially filed for it and basically said there was no way they could fit under the limit without cutting the game (although in Lumines' case... I won't even go there).

While there may continue to be some exemptions for a few games:
-Yes, Microsoft will allow a dev to break the limit if it's necessary ...

My favorite quote:
"The 4th dimension really IS time, because Sony keeps telling people that the system is only going to start delivering at some distant point in the future."

It's a good thing that BluRay has all that extra room, because developers are going to HAVE to put 2-3 copies of the game on there in order to make up for the slow drive speed!

Hilarity. Anyone who things this is a "good" thing for BluRay needs to get off their knees and out of Sony's pants.

When the system costs $600 and is supposed to be so incredibly powerful that 360 is supposed to be blown away, bits like this have to make you wonder.

SHIPPED 5 million, not Sold.
Old Sony BS, as usual.

Last I heard, it was launching worldwide in Spring 2006. Oh, snap.

Anyway- I don't think I've seen a single prediction from this guy EVER be true. Are they feeding him bad info on purpose, or is his office that messed up?

Not to mention- did the rumored partnership with MTV pan out? This is either really, really good (real artists' tracks mb?) or really, really bad (Britney Spears = guitar rock?).

Technically, also keep in mind that Microsoft HAS won the war. They went from a nobody in the console industry to having the title of next-gen king for a full year or more

And remember- PS3 was supposed to launch Spring 06, so it's not like MS has been without competition- Sony's delay was its own problem, and only one of many.

Oh, no! Users who CHOSE not to get a hard drive because they didn't want content like this aren't unable to get it. Oh wait, THEY ALMOST UNIVERSALLY DON'T DOWNLOAD GAMES FROM LIVE IN THE FIRST PLACE, WHICH IS WHY THEY GOT A CORE SYSTEM.

And in the second place, if Microsoft had forced this game to 50mb- which would have been done by compressing and/or degrading audio according to the devs- everyone would be b*tching that Microsoft is evil for forcing a dev to cut a game.

Note: If you're going to try to bash Xbox Live for this- just remember that this guy can be banned and thus lose his full $50 even though it's only January. So there's a tiny little bit of retribution to be had there too.
