Agreed. The AP reviewer is an idiot. Not only that, he's a liar.
Kotaku video review?
For anyone still interested in gaining a better understanding of the situation, I suggest the following post on the Steam forums.

It really is a spectacular read.
@ElectricB: "Just because it isn't in the rules doesn't mean it's not cheating"
I whole-heartedly disagree. IMO, a person isn't cheating unless their actions are against the rules, just as a person isn't a criminal unless their actions are against the law.
The 4.5% statistic is a little misleading. About 15,000 people found their items wiped as a result of using the idler exe. This is about 4.5% of the total number of people that OWN Team Fortress 2 for PC. The player base is significantly smaller.
I play TF2 on a daily basis. The TF2 community isn't millions strong. At peak times on Friday and Saturday, nearly 30,000 people are online. On a non-weekend, this number tends to hover around the 20,000 mark. Those who used the i...
Yea. You're making a lot of assumptions. These people weren't doing anything against the rules. As a matter of fact, there's a statement floating around made by Valve that idling for hats and weapons was OK. This rule change was not made until yesterday. So like I said above, in my opinion...
Those who obtained hats via idling before yesterday are not cheaters.
Those that obtain hats via idling yesterday and beyond are cheaters.
People who obtained hats via ...
Server idling wasn't defined as "cheating" until after the update yesterday.
Those who obtained hats via idling before yesterday are not cheaters.
Those that obtain hats via idling yesterday and beyond are cheaters.
You included.
In a way, I sort of agree, but probably not for the same reasons. If you are familiar with Jim Sterling's writing, he comes across as a truly sad individual. He's very bitter. And I'd agree that it's probably his weight (and consequently the humiliation) that has a lot to do with it. Poor guy.
Every time I read his articles on Dtoid, I just end up feeling sorry for him.
Ehhh... not so much Sligo.
Jasper owners aren't getting RRoD anymore.
They're getting E74.
Which is the same thing, and just as common, except you don't see any red lights.
BWAHAHAHA.
Commodore you got frikken ROCKED!
BWAHAHAHA!
I reckon Jasper didn't "fix" the RRoD problem. They just removed the three red lights from all Jasper models. Jasper models are still going kaput almost as often as the original 360 models. The original kits were designed to flash three red lights in the case of general hardware failure. You can't get the red ring of death anymore when the kits aren't hardwired to report the three red lights.
They "fixed" problems with the 360 by removing its ability to in...
Agreed. He'll be at your level soon enough. He's only gotta lose one more bubble, then you'll be even.
hahahahahaha.
ahahahahahah.
hahahahahaha.
ahahahahahah.
I'm laughing at YOU.
From here on out, no they don't. The NEW Pro SKUs (which is what is being referred to in the Kotaku article) will not include HD nor component cables. They will, however, be shipped with standard-def composite cables.
To quote the article, "If you plan on picking one up in the future, you won't be so lucky, as several GameStop employees have told us new models of the hardware hitting stores across the US (new box pictured) no longer ship with a HDMI cable. In fact, they do...
This hack exists for both consoles. De-bubbled, reported and ignored.
Just ignore happyface. His input is easily discarded. Check his history. He's got a one-track mind. Many of his posts have been deleted by mods and the ones that haven't are all anti-Sony.
He's a joke.
It's a shame to hear that Sony is having troubles. I have a lot of respect for them, and not just where gaming is concerned.
I too am interested in what Darkride has to say about this, but probably not for the same reasons as some of you witch hunters. I find his posts to be rather insightful. He's a man of common sense. And I generally agree with the comments that he's made. Not always, but most of the time.
ODST looks like a lot of fun. The graphics seem a bit dated, but the gameplay looks refreshing (familiar, but with a few tweaks). My worry is that ODST isn't a $60 value, especially for those uninterested in the multiplayer or those that already own the majority of Halo 3 DLC.
Best save this for the bargain bin or a solid rental.
