That's what I did with the PS3 headset. I waited until the Socom bundle was just as cheap as the Bluetooth headset, then picked up the bundle because "hey I get Socom for free!"
Also, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Madworld probably would have done better on the PS3. It's only a "what if" and it's just a gut feeling. But I'm pretty sure the only reason Madworld bombed was because it was on the Wii and not on a console whose playerbase could support it.
I don't think PS3 titles are known for poor sales. I think, in general, PS3 titles have lower initial sales, but generally have very, very long legs.

If anything, the Wii has expedited the decline of the gaming industry. Nintendo's aim with the Wii was one thing, and one thing only: to turn a profit by expanding the market to reach non-gamers. In that regard, the Wii has thoroughly succeeded. And at what cost? At the cost of forsaking game quality and their core audience to turn an extra buck.

Really? Online games like Counterstrike, Starcraft, Warcraft, Team Fortress, Diablo and MMOs like Ultima, Everquest, WoW, Guild Wars and Eve say "hi". People play, have played and have continued to play some of these online games for literally decades.

My guess is that you mean the Japanese FF3 that was remade for the DS here in the States (instead of the SNES Final Fantasy III aka Final Fantasy VI is universally renowned as one of the best FFs, and subsequently best RPGS, of all time). In which case, I can see your point. Although, personally, I enjoyed the time I spent playing FF3-DS more than I did playing FF13.

Definitely NOT a 4.5/5. This is easily the worst Metroid game in the series. A 2/5 is a little harsh, but it's not totally unreasonable. I can see how someone could have a poor opinion of Other M. IMO, it's more like a 3/5. Like I said, worst Metroid game in the series by far.
