lol.
I'll keep my gamerpics, thanks.
What's another week or two when you have MGS4? Yeah, I thought so ;p
I'm tired of installs. But for MGS4, I think I can make an exception. :D
And yeah, I'm pretty sure the "joke" is more likely aimed at the old MGS games rather than Xbox 360 DVDs.
I mean, I played the original waaaaay back in the day on PS1. It was great for the time, but I'm getting MGS4 and would rather be playing that than the first one. But that's just me.
Join 'em. I for one won't be buying this peripheral as I have a PS3.
And no, I highly doubt you're going to see Blu-ray games on Xbox 360, instead it will be an add-on like the HD DVD drive was. Now if this was a built-in drive, then I'd be suspicious.
Of course, that's even if this turns out to be real. I've been hearing about this for months, like most of us have. Eh, I'll believe it when I see it. :p
Are very, very win. Especially considering the fact every PC comes with one, consoles are better with them, and digital media is taking off. Who knows, one day we might be downloading retail games instead of going to our favorite store and buying them on a disc.
This guy = fail.
I remember long ago when I was in the market for an Xbox 360 and they had a deal where you could get the Core pack for like $200. I was ready to buy, credit card in hand and code ready to enter. When suddenly the second the page changed for the sale, everything locked to hell and the site was killed. I was told EXACTLY when to be online for the deal in an email, and then the site crashed at that EXACT time. So if it crashed then for a barebones Xbox 360 console, I wholeheartedly believe this ...
As long as I get in-game web browsing and in-game messaging/friends list I'll be fine. 2.4 FTW :D
I don't know a lot about the way the SOCOM Beta will work...But by 'public' does that mean that you will be able to get in by signing up at the website or pre-ordering the game? Or is just selected people from their forums? Anyway this was a major selling point for me to get Qore and it kinda sucks we're getting in late. But as they say, better late than never.
After giving it some time:
"Okay so the download finished. It installs after downloading and is filed under your Games tab, like a demo. So I booted on up and it wasn't so bad. Not terrible, not awesome, just somewhere in between (and for $3 you can't really expect much). There is a full game, Calling All Cars, included in this issue but it's only available to those who buy the Annual Subscription. You also get a Qore-exclusive SOCOM theme and of course, the Beta for the gam...
With Halo 3 beta you could only get in if you bought Crackdown. With MGO Beta, the main way to get in was to pre-order MGS4. If you want in bad enough, you'll pay. Simple as.
As for this comparing Qore to XBL Gold, that is laughable. For one, Gold is a SERVICE, Qore is a MAGAZINE. How the hell are people trying to compare the two?
Just the Ep, not the subscription. It was okay. I expected better but for $3 it's not bad. I'm debating on whether to subscribe next month or not. I probably will though.
Still awaiting SOCOM Beta as well.
Yes there are, they're just not as obvious as in games past. In Alderney, you can find Mafia gang members driving black cars, Triads driving blue sports sedans; in Broker you can find biker gang members around a certain Burger Shot, Jamaican gangs are seen around Little Jacob's pad, black gangstas can be found in the projects of Northern Algonquin and Bohan, and Russian/Eastern European gang members are found in and around the Hove Beach area where you start the game. You just have to open yo...
I liked the idea, and I want to grow closer to my PS3. I will buy the first issue. And if all's good, I'll subscribe. Hey, anything I can do to get more use out of my Triple.
So there will be at least three Bioshocks. Well I'll certainly play through the PS3 version of Bioshock 1 for kicks (already completed game on 360 long ago) and am hyped for Bioshock 2. But it's good to see this is a trilogy.
After finishing the story I was really looking forward to this DLC. Now, well, it's going to be other games keeping me busy instead of GTA IV.
$500 on the PS3 itself. Now I'm going to need to spend another $100 to upgrade the drive. Something about that isn't right. Enough with the installs already, it's a console, not a PC ffs.
I'll have to see what's so special about this if I'm going to pay for Qore as well. Only $3 a month but still...I'll give it some time.
5hit is cool. :\
Grow up THQ.
Tired of these useless updates? Bring on 2.4 already. These tiny "updates" are annoying and don't bring much to the table.
