Alan Wake and Sasquatch are laughing. It simply doesn't exist, nor will it ever at this rate. You got MS saying one thing, and R* saying another. Noone has a clue what's really going on and people have moved on from playing this game a long time ago.

It's great to see something like this. MGS4 is indeed a great game as is R2.
I was REALLY looking forward to buying this game. Then the delay hit, so I bought a couple other games instead. Then they removed photo uploading. Now they're taking the fun out of it by removing levels that people spent good time on like Mario and MGS? WTF?? Last week it came down to Resistance 2 and LBP and I took R2 because it was higher on my list but with all this crap going on with this game, I may never buy it. I am disappointed greatly.

Until 4AM for two days straight playing R2. I haven't done that for a game in quite a while so to me it's a little better than "good". It is a great game so far and I'm barely a couple chapters in.
Because from what I understand it's not even a game, rather a programing language for newbie developers...or something.
That the kid is dead? That is laughable. I love how every time something goes wrong, people blame video games. First music and now games? People need to put some blame on themselves for once.

Man I feel your pain. I used to be in your situation and have to only buy game on 360 because my TV couldn't do 720p, only 1080i. I put up with this for almost two years and my PS3 collection only consisted of a few games because of this. But I went out and got me a Sony Bravia 40" 1080p and couldn't be happier. Now my PS3 is getting all the attention these days. You really should look into getting a new TV if it's within your budget, you'll be happy you did, it can really change your ga...
but even i'm having a hard time believing that installing the game to the HDD will make it look any better. Perform better? Absolutely. Less pop-ins, higher frame rate, quicker loading times? Sure. But an increase in graphical power is just silly, it's not like you're throwing in a new GPU or more RAM per say.
do you update? I got the file and unzipped it to the USB drive but my Xbox doesn't even know it's there?

Got the demo on PS3 last night and was pleasantly surprised. Looked great and played pretty well. I got stuck at the helicopter part and didn't know how to get off the building but after I gave up for the night, I thought "wait, I wonder if I can run up to the chopper and grab ahold of it or something??". So I will try that when I play through it again. I will wait until reviews come out because I will have to choose between this, Resistance 2 and LBP but I'm very interested.
I simply cannot wait for this game. I loved the first one and will like this one even more. The only thing I don't like is the apparent lack of a narrator which disappoints me. Buuuut, the game will still rock.
There's not a whole lot of games with trophies so this makes GTA IV worthy of another run. It is hard to do, though, with games like MC:LA, Saints Row 2, Resistance 2, LBP etc.
Holy god am I glad I grew out of this crap. A console is a console, nothing more. Quit flaming each other over them.

PS3 is rocking this year. I will picking this up before year's end for sure. Alongside LBP, Resistance 2 and many others. I never thought I'd see the day when my PS3 collection would outgrow my 360 one, but Sony keeps churning them out!
Why must everything find a way to be delayed on PS3?
There IS rechargable batteries btw, I use them in both of my 360 controllers. But you have to buy two packs and a battery charger which is around $30 for the set.
