It seems like the puzzles in video games are becoming easier by the day =/
Battle Royale in the style of Dark Souls? Haha!
I like bad fanfiction, it makes me feel better about myself.
I need a new Theme Hospital in my life...
What do the The Nurses symbolise? =/ They are so iconic, the cosplay I've seen of them is usually really creepy.
They seemed like really nice guys actually, worth keeping an eye on them in the future.
Goes to show how ambition and hard work really do pay off in the long run. I just hope the game turns out well for them.
Thanks! I’m really interested in the processes taken by developers to create and promote a game.
Can't wait for this...
Great article, there's such a gap in the market for a FPS with a female lead.
That’s my major problem with the BBC. There’s no real commitment or enthusiasm behind anything when it comes to video games and the internet. In fact, a few years ago I remember a lot of anti-internet rhetoric coming out of the BBC because they saw it as perhaps the biggest source of alternative media. Getting people like PewDiePie to present a one off show is just a way for them to stay relevant and cash a pay check. In reality, they don’t really care about video games.
I agree. He’s kind of become synonymous with YouTube, hasn’t he? I appreciate that he has achieved a lot, and there are worse things in popular culture, but yeah, his videos and humour have certainly taken a turn for the worst since he started with Amnesia.
Tomb Raider was always meant to be sold to the masses, it didn't stop them making it difficult. I remember being stuck for days in a Tomb Raider game. Now it's all about 'flow' I suppose, making sure people stay playing the game.
We need more Cyberpunk in video games...
"They even have a schedule for all of the trains in their game!"
I fully expect the schedule to come as a microtransaction DLC.
Tomb Raider has lost some appeal, I think. Lara is still great, but the puzzle solving, tomb raiding elements have taken a back seat lately.
Currently playing Metal Gear Solid so I had to quickly skip reading the part about Quiet =P At least I’ll be expecting disappointment now.
Yeah, while Until Dawn was fantastic, it seemed to just leave atmosphere at the door about half way through the game. Like you said, it relied heavily on game play elements to build tension, (quick time events etc.) rather than anything really substantial.
Definitely, it’s all about atmosphere with this one.
It’s amazing what games people play over the Halloween Weekend!
