To clarify "the world and AI simulation are literally 10,000 times better. " Agreed.
Usually don't agree with anything you have to say other than this. Bravo Magog.
Choppy as hell but pause/play from 1:50 and it does look wicked. I know they never wanted to make GTA Cyberpunk, but I hope they add more side-content because it is beautiful.
Liked this game, but they should have kept the original RPG elements they ditched. I think if there is a Legion 2 then they will have learned a lot from Legion. I think it will be great if they nail it second time round.
Eventually maybe, but "Microsoft Tops $2.5B Mojang Deal with $7.5B ZeniMax Buy" Then tops them both with ~$70B Activision Blizzard deal. No price increase since the $10B spent, more likely an increase in gamepass subs & MTX purchases to negate the costs.
"Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass service now has 25 million subscribers. That's up from the 18 million Microsoft previously reported in January last year".
Long term plan over...
Some neat ideas, but I would prefer they dropped the aliens and replaced them with human terrorists and made the scenarios based on the siege games. Take out the elite terrorist leader, defuse the bombs, civilian rescue and operator rescue etc. They could easily do this using these maps. I like the choice where you decide to keep going for more XP or extract for less.
@WITCHCRAFT - Or, y'know offer the games on Xbox Game Pass (for Xbox and PC) as day one titles and because they own the companies will always be available. However, what you said might ring true for Playstation gamers. An aggressive business tactic to get more people on Xbox.
This is where your console brand loyalties get tested to the max. For PC gamers though, it IS a massive win win situation. I think SONY will be just fine with its PSVR 2 and exclusives. Let MS have the third party games and its own usual suspects IPs. Gamers who own multiple systems win again.
For me it will be PC/PS5 combo.
This is an excellent change of tack. Makes me so happy to see this. Hopefully the mindset infects AAA developers as well.
Problem is, it might be your problem with Ubisoft but for millions of others they are provided what they expect because Ubisoft is catering to their gaming needs. It becomes a problem (for Ubisoft) when the sales numbers take a nose dive.
That's a potential problem with SONY's policies. They might be quite tight when it comes to external 360 movie viewing and VR PORN which I am sure many people would love to view on PSVR 2. Hopefully there is a workaround for those who are determined like there is now for PSVR 1. VR Porn is quite the driver for VR headsets any way. People seem to get caught up in "VR = gaming only" when in fact it has many uses outside of gaming.
The Ascent is quite a basic shooter but looks lovely. I wish it had more depth.
What some commenters are ignoring are the numbers top left of the screen and the GPU utilization. The gameplay appears locked to 60 fps but if you look at the GPU utilization it is not maxed out which means it could push the frames much higher than 60. The PC has Vsync enabled. A PS5 or a PS4 isn't going to have the same kind of headroom to push more fps.
PS5 GPU is equivalent to an RTX 2060 or 2070.
It's usually ~1/3 who finish games.
RE7 PSVR - I shit myself at first. Then you get too powerful and overcome your fears with a ton of ammo and weapons by your side.
Have you not heard of Oculus Quest 2 and Airlink?
It's a thing now in the UK to allow women who look like plus size as they call it to be clothing models to suit the larger demographic. That mod gives Jill a flat stomach accentuating her bust and lower half. Isn't that the definition of "thicc"?
Devs always big-up their game lengths pre-release. Most often they are overinflated. Some games make up for it with loads of fluff content though.
Obviously not Christopher. "Design" covers the entire spectrum as far as I am concerned, and in context of the article, quite relevant. You should have defined what you meant by "design" better. If you had said "looks" or "appearance" then there would be no confusion.
well said.
