Im not far into it yet but I agree the AI sucks ass, and stealth isn't really stealthy. Nothing beats MGS games in that department.
I saw no advertising for it outside of websites.
But then again I hardly ever see game advertising other than whats on websites.
This is just marketing fail. No wonder Insomniac are going multi-plat.
With this and Sony's display, I'm thinking the games need to actually support this feature for it to work? How many do I wonder?
good point. it'll be a while before any of these studios has another major release, and more than likely it'll be on the next gen console rather than PS3.
Yeah Vita here I come.
I find it really hard. This year I started full time as a lawyer, and moved out of home, and I game about a fifth or less of the time I used to.
Weekends only mostly.
I game on my iMac!
You pay for the license to use it, you don't own any of the software you purchase. How is this new to anyone?
This means nothing to me.
No Jimmer? Noooooooo!
I will start a business. Get hot Japanese women pregnant, no strings attached.
I think he means that in terms of sales exposure. There's no denying the COD games sell more than anything.
It looks sick. MW2 is still awesome.
I won't be getting it launch day however, because I'll be waiting to see if its as buggy on PS3 as Black Ops was.
18 months is quite a while, yet I don't see Sony making the same launch mistakes with PS4. High buy in and no games? No thanks. Hopefully it's affordable, has a solid launch library, and is enough of a leap ahead of PS3 to justify it's existence.
Graphics and AI shouldn't be mutually exclusive. I think it's really a bit of a moot point these days anyway. I know of plenty of games with great graphics and gameplay- most of them I own. I do agree AI in some games has seen little improvement since oldschool days. I'm playing Deus Ex HR right now and the AI is really dumb.
However the games you highlighted, especially MGS4 (which is now 3 years old) still looks as good if not better than most games released the...
This reminds me of classic Sony of the 90's and early 2000's. Extremely niche, tech savvy product with no mass market appeal and high price tag.
hahahaha classic
I'm really itching to get into this game. I bought it on Sunday and between work and girlfriend, I haven't had a chance to get past first mission yet. Can't wait for the weekend!
I dont really give a hoot
MGS is the best Jap game series ever.
