Yeah AA was the most discernible. They should have zoomed out and shown the cars too. It'd be good to get up close car model comparisons.
I honestly hope clowns like this don't ruin the whole Twitch thing for everyone.
You are not entertained.
Exactly, it's not profitable. They've spent billions trying to take market share from Sony (successfully might I add) but spent too much doing it.
I would like to see them spin it off, list it watch it grow.
Honestly I don't think anyone should be hoping that this or any system's launch games are a failure, but early adopters know that the purchase of an Xbone or PS4 is about the promise of what's to come, not necessarily what's there day one.
The more the hardcore support these systems and titles, the quicker we'll get more and better titles to play.
Really looking forward to this now. Between this and PS4 its going to be a Playstation heavy November.
They don't make $18 per console. They sell them at a loss, they said so themselves to their shareholders at their last AGM. The "on the shelf cost" would be much more, and Sony aren't copping all the money of the RRP. They are getting the wholesale price.
These articles don't account for the many variables, we literally have no idea what rates Sony have negotiated for components.
That said, we know becomes profitable once they sell game ...
Quote: "Verdict: Buy it if there are exclusives that appeal to you, not for the bells and whistles. Otherwise, save $100 and get a PS4."
I think in a year it will be a better value proposition, particularly for users outside the US where many of the 'media centre' features are unavailable.
Honestly can't wait for BF4 on PS4 with 64 players. Hopefully by the time it launches here the issues are sorted.
To me the ply disappointment was Knack, which tbh I would never have bought regardless. It's a family game and I don't play those.
Everyone has also forgot about all those multiplats and PSN games.
By end of March next year though, the PS4 (and Xbone for that matter) will have really hit its stride.
Best article I've read on here in a while. I'm actually looking forward to the coming generation, particularly PS4 because of the indie support for the system. Some of the most interesting games look to be those titles available on the PSN store.
I work for a major online retailer - FYI for everyone here, we budget a 4-5% DOA/failure rate into all consumer electronics, and we sell a lot, including consoles.
That accounts for manufacturing defects and shipping issues. Most DOA failures occur due to shipping and handling. Between the warehouse and the customer, many people handle your package, and it's last few km's come to you in the back of a van driven by a low paid and frustrated courier. Boxes get bashed a...
Why do reviewers hate the games? The only one I've seen getting bad reviews is Knack.
Killzone has had a few average scores, but its been overwhelmingly positively received - did these people even watch the IGN review?
What about Battlefield 4? COD Ghosts? NBA2K14? FIFA? They realise there are multi plats too right?
Maybe this means there will be a Vita version...hopefully
While it doesn't bother me because I have other devices hooked into my TV that do this already, I think the lack of local network streaming compatability is kinda big, especially since PS3 does it relatively well.
What I don't like about some of this PS4 news is that they've taken lots of features out that PS3, and even PS2 and PSone had. For this reason my PS3 will be sticking around long after I get my PS4 on launch day.
I am one of those Australian pre-orders... :D
lol yeah - PS4 version is almost indistinguishable - better resolution and shadows thats about it. what a disappointment.
For battlefield I think a 4 hour campaign is about right - you can knock it out in an afternoon as a teaser to the multiplayer. TBH I didn't even play the single player in bf3 and if I remember correctly bf2 and 1942 didn't even have single player (that wasn't bots on the normal maps)?
This is not news- this is a twitter feed. If I wanted to read Yoshida's twitter account without context, report or comment I would use twitter? Why do these get approved?
This is a story now? Being an Australian gamer, I've always been jealous of the prices American gamers pay - but being the modern era, we can import games easily for $60USD.
