And why for god's sake is DOOM in quotes?? Is this some sort of ironic doom?

Troll article to get hits. I want those 5 minutes back.

Quite the misleading title, as nowhere in the article is Crytek even proven right.

If I were IGN, I'd be embarrassed by my content in general, not because of Crytek.

I agree with you in part, mostly because I would not have given COD such high marks myself.

However, Black Ops for instance, has a longer campaign which does not suffer from things like clipping issues and invisible walls, and also includes dedicated servers. Homefront has a lot of the same faults that a game like Black Ops has, but also has additional technical problems, an even more forgettable plot (aside from the intro) with no resolution, and inferior, more outdated visu...

It's worth it at $299.99 IMO. It's not going to keep me from getting a 3DS, but it'll make sure I end up with both.

That wall of text is pointless.

Yeah. You own your PS3. You can do whatever you want with it. You're allowed to paint your PS3 pink, rip out its insides, and fill it with pudding.

The software? The software is not yours. The software has specific terms of service and you have to use the software in the way that the developer intended.

You don't HAVE to use their software if you don't want, but then all you're going to be doing...

I'm glad everyone's prayers and thoughts are with the people of Japan, as are mine.

But let's put our money where our mouth is and donate. They're going to need every cent we can offer.

This is also apparently a troll with numerous accounts creating dozens of threads, and he can still activate Dragon Age 2 from any of those accounts if he wanted to. Plus it's only a 72 hours ban.

It's a spin article.

Went 4-5 years without being hacked. The "key" gets stolen and it gets hacked. No "key," no hack.

3.56 hasn't been hacked yet and they've already gone multiple steps further. Sounds like they've made a pretty secure system.

I guess the new "key" could always be stolen, but if it was that hard to get in the first place, chances are pretty good that steps have been taken to make that a lot more difficult this time.

3.56 has already existed for more than 2 weeks, my friend, and is not hacked.

The PS3 existed for 4-5 completely hack-less until the "key" was stolen.

No "key," no hack. Apparently they've managed to build a pretty darn secure console.

I can't get behind that article title in the same year that Battlefield 3 is being released.

Brink sounds interesting and worth looking into, but to make it out to be the only FPS coming out this year worth caring about is a gross exaggeration.

On similar lines, you don't need to hate action to like a good story without action. Quality adventure games are seriously underrated and too few developers are keeping the standard of storytelling up in gaming.

People considered COD as having great storytelling. That means the standard has dropped significantly.

A guy who fancies himself a top-notch game storyteller didn't like one of the best stories told in gaming last year?

Interesting.

Kind of a misleading title. "A game with as many bugs as Killzone 3" suggesting we had Fallout: New Vegas on our hands or something.

You mention two bugs, one regarding error codes (which I have not experienced in 10-or-so hours of multiplayer gameplay since day of release), and a region bug.

Everything else is a subjective complaint about missing features. Those aren't bugs.

Killzone 3 was in much better shape at launch than, s...

I've got all 3 systems, but don't see a reason to defend the Xbox 360 much this year.

You don't have to be a "sony troll" to understand that there's not much going for the system in 2011, at least that's been announced so far.

Haha this is so off base it's mind-numbing.

You just claimed that Michael Jackson: The Experience is a reason to be excited about Xbox 360 this year.

And Carnival Games.

If you're trying to rep Xbox 360, you just made it look a whole lot worse.
