Here's hoping the overheating issue is exclusive to the fats and that my slim will be ok
@maxcer Ask Valve why release Team Fortress 2 on Xbox LIVE was a mistake.
If you don't know where I'm going with this, take a look at how much content is consistently added to the PC version at no cost to the player.
That would have cost them a fortune to do on Xbox LIVE. And while I can kind of see your original point, the reason they charge is for bandwidth and storage, not to keep game bugs to a minimum, particularly since most simple bug fixes wou...
While it's close, you have to admit that you pretty much picked the only two images in the entire comparison where the 360 version wasn't deficient visually.
And if you're talking about textures and nothing else, don't forget the second page where you can hardly read "McCordy" on the third pic down on the Xbox 360 version.
As an owner of both consoles, it's not hard to want to choose the PS3 version for the SSAO alone. Funny beca...
It was already free and it was already installed. A lot of people didn't notice, but if you had the Steam version, you've had the Justine DLC since before Portal 2 came out.
Solid game. Will be glad to play more of it
This is insane. Wow. It's true; if you give people the tools, they'll do things with them that you would never have expected.
The real lesson here is not to avoid being "criminally negligent." The real lesson is this: Don't piss off hackers.
Nothing is unhackable. All hackers need is a reason to put enough effort into it. There is no way to 100% protect against it.
You can't sell them because everyone with PS3 will already have them.
Easy answer: YOU CAN'T PLEASE EVERYONE.
"button display is inaccurate and needlessly confusing" - Was never wrong for me, and I wasn't confused. Not sure where you're coming from, here.
The one big sticking point for this game is the laggy online play. Hopefully this can be patched, but right now, it's laggy.
From your little synopsis here, I gather that it doesn't matter if it is more loaded with content than any fighter in the past decade, it doesn't matter if it'...
I'm a street fighter fan, too. But I'm also a game reviewer who understands the importance of taking an objective stance. This MK reviewer is letting his bias shine bright.
Still have to do it that way, but it's worth the tradeoff. The slim is so much quieter.
I sold my Xbox 360 to get a slim when it was released. Worth it for the much-quieter operation alone! So I'm guessing I won't be affected by this? We'll see
Didn't Sony offer free games and subscriptions as a result of their already-free service going down for an extended period of time?
Why isn't it possible that both manufacturers have been loyal to their userbase?
Not very often you see a publisher giving away games for free just to promote the sequel. I'd take that any day.
I have most of the games listed, still think it's a very generous move on Sony's part that they really didn't have to do.
I'm astounded that there are so many whiners with such a ridiculous sense of entitlement. People think they deserve everything.
If you're going to claim that this is a BioWare employee, you should probably post a source. Just sayin.
Now to decide whether or not I feel like dealing with the GFWL hassle...
"Far better fighters out there for your buck"
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion of course, but what fighter out there delivers the same level of gameplay with anything approaching this much content?
Unfortunately, all this review does for me is remind me not to consider this particular writer's opinion.
Psyched!
