There are much more negative reviews out there, like Machinima: http://www.insidegamingdail...
And btw, 2.5 isn't a below-average review. If he thought he had an average experience, I'm sure glad he didn't pretend it was more.
So now you're going to claim that Heavy Rain's gameplay was centered around gun play? You're right, you are just a hater.
Totally agree. But with the median age of gamers getting older and older, let's hope that the maturity of the games themselves follows suit.
Even if you can borrow some games to ease up on the wallet, this season is going to cost a ton of hours.
OnLive is definitely a decent service. I'm looking forward to trying it on my Asus Transformer myself :-)
Really misleading title, there. OnLive streams PC games, not "console" games.
Passive glasses are not expensive and don't require the constant cost of batteries. Some 3DTVs are under $1,000. It's affordable now.
And it may have been around for decades in the broad-sense, but the current incarnation and modern revival is only a couple of years old. 3D is certainly on the verge of taking off.
It's not quite the same situation, though. With movies, you are a spectator. Games are interactive, and that could make a significant difference.
Wow back in 94? That's pretty incredible!
Long live the old-school adventure game
Nice to see two of the devs at the pinnacle of the industry appreciate the quality of their competition. They can be game fans too, you know.
This is what all consumers should be saying rather than letting Nintendo have a pass on this, particularly after also instituting an $80 price drop.
This is where the self-righteous reply saying "It's your fault you bought it," once again giving Nintendo a pass on it.
Hardly their first game. Techland does Call of Juarez as well.
What they'll probably do (or SHOULD do) is just release a new model that includes both analog pads so the cradle will only be mandatory for the legacy model.
It might make them reactive whereas they've always been proactive, but that doesn't make this a bad decision.
@TheOtherTheoG Um, yes, yes it was.
It bums me out. XCOM, Syndicate, and Fallout made excellent games in the isometric perspective.
Ever wonder how many people would be flipping out if the next Diablo was in first-person perspective?
I expected to find trash picks here. I was wrong. :D
hahaha awesome article
That's funny... I'm a man, I'm married, I have a good job as a telecom engineer, I freelance for multiple publications, I'm an audio engineer, and I play in a band. I also play hours of a video games a week in the name of reviewing them and good old-fashioned fun.
But clearly those video games are sapping all of my ambition away, right?
