Compared to 6, absolutely, but in regards to 7, they're both excellent. But its baked vs. dynamic and so one game ( Forza) clearly has a lead on the realism, as you know in the real world, time doesn't get set by God and have it pre-loaded into life
FH3 and FM6 def have a high contrast look that makes it look cartoonish, but FM7 is using a upgraded lighting engine and it looks phenomenal. Def don't see where anyone could say GT looks better, as FM7 is not only technologically more advanced, but also boosts higher fidelity ( 4K vs 1800p c)
Its a great looking game, I'm happy to see that PD seems to be continually improving the graphics with each build, so I'm excited to see the final product

Both GT and Forza are sim-cades, games like Asseto and PC ( both on consoles) are far more realistic. And between Forza and GT, they both have their pros and cons, GT's cars all have a idiotic understeer and FM's force feedback is absolute trash

I don't think 3rd parties will invest that much, so its really on Microsoft's 1st party to truly deliver on the console's potential. Gears 4 on Ultra looks absolutely stunning and so does FM7 and Sea of Thieves, but they need to truly deliver the performance
Well most developers have said its performance is in line with a 1070, so nothing in its price range will come close, Microsoft has engineered this extremely well and I can't wait to see Shadow of War and FM7 on this beast
Found the launch bundle for $370 at some places, seems like a good time, but I would still wait till the Holidays where I'm sure the price will become competitive. Gotta drop the price in the face of that $400 Oculus deal
But his whole point in the question is to address game catalogs. And last I checked majority of the games on PS4 are also on Xbox One. His case in point being without a good gaming library, a console with superior hardware means jack shit, but my point is that 3rd party titles make up a majority of what console gamers consume and thus why exclusives aren't as a big a deal as people make them out to be

Never said exclusives though, he said content of which the Xbox One X will have in the form of the best 3rd party titles on any console. And reality is that most 3rd party games such as BF, COD and FIFA are much more prominent than any exclusive on either system. Though with more people owning PS4's newer gamers will jump with Sony since it's more likely you'll find your friends on PSN than XBL
The Xbox One literally has not had a SINGLE first-party title thus far. Halo Wars 2 was done by a independent studio and for the rest of the year the ONLY first-party title is FM7. That's compared to 5 from Sony, I get the rarity of 1st party games, but its straight up pathetic to get ONE this year. MSFT needs to step it up

Not denying the importance of multi-plats, but while they'll run worse on PS4 Pro, it'll have a slew of exclusives not available elsewhere. In the end whether you like them or not, a gamer's console is one that offers the most amount of choice and in the games department, that belongs to PS4

Hmm on consoles these assets are not matched by ANYONE. Not PC, or GT, or Asseto or DC, none of them utilize 4K assets on any of the consoles. And on a PC to get 4K assets on a game like PC or Asseto its a ton of brute horsepower to keep a locked 60 FPS
Mainly about inclusivity, the avatars weren't just updated on a newer engine.
