Why didn't anyone complain about launch exclusives with the PS4 Pro? But the Xbox One X must be held to a standard where it needs launch exclusives? I'm not understanding that
They're scaling a game at 900p on both PS4 and One to a near 4K resolution...not to mention Anvil Next is a very demanding engine
Will the best racing game of the year so...not a bad thing to have on your side
You're confusing a marketing agreement with that of a publishing one. Sony paid Activision to market the game exclusively. They don't have publishing rights ( aside in Japan) and thus they aren't owed royalties or money from IP usage. Now Microsoft on the other hand ( dying or not) earn 100% of the royalties from E Sports because they OWN those IPs and publish those games.
Microsoft has no exclusive, if its on another platform its not exclusive. This goes for everyone, including Persona 5 on PS4, it isn't exclusive, as its on PS3.
It's simple
Yes most people play multi-plats and those will look the best on Xbox. But in the PS ecosystem you can still enjoy those games and have access to a steady stream of exclusive titles, best of both worlds. Think I'll take more exclusives than a bump to Native 4K on the same game
The GTX 1070 is already a $400 card, PLEASE show me how you're building a full blown PC that can match this for $100 more.
Potential GOTY
For those crying about the micro-transactions, the developers have said theres a good balance between those playing it and those just wanting to buy through the game.
This game has the potential to be a GOTY contender, I didn't even take this series seriously until I played Shadow of Mordor and man I am HOOKED!
The reason is cause PSN is atrociously slow, don't get me wrong its vastly better than the PS3 era. But it still needs work to get on the XBL's level. Nintendo Online though is absolute trash LOL
Those installs are slow because the disk reader and the overhead from the UI makes physical game installs slow. But XBL downloads are very fast, I average around 45 MPBS on games and you can look at a study done that awarded XBL for the fastest online MP connection
Why do these articles even get approved? loll
Please don't be this stupid
@Chris
Aside from remote play, which of those features do the Xbox One not have?
It'll be
1. Switch
2. PS4
3. Xbox One
The One X is way too expensive and the PS4 will drop price while the Switch will get Holiday bundles
Except none of those exclusive titles will outsell those individual 3rd party titles on each platform. Nintendo will win cause their console is the best for kids and offers the most uniqueness among the 3. But the biggest games are on both systems
Pretty sure the Switch will dominate the holiday season, second being the PS4. The One X is way too expensive to dominate the holiday season and games wise, software wise its basically the same, as the biggest games are on both system.
The PS4 is also just an HD PS3 w/ less features. Both of these consoles offer barely any feature improvement above their predecessor. At least in Microsoft's case you can argue its got a more advanced Blu Ray player
Love the down votes, the PS fanboys are mad because they already know what will win GOTY
It depends on the engine, older engines that DX-11 based are heavily CPU bound and thus yes it'll get bottlenecked. However more modern engines ( UE4, Anvil Next, Frostbite, etc) are DX-12 based and have a pipeline for GPGPU processing and thus can be optimized very well on the One X, not to mention DX-12 integrated on the die, developers don't have to do as much work.
Like you're seeing 900p engines scale to near 4K, thats in comparison to 900p engines scaling...
