I see this like the iphone model now. the regular number iphone being the regular number playstation like the ps4 or ps5. and the "s" edition iphones being the playstation pro models.
there was an iphone5 (no finger print scanner) and iphone 5s (with finger print scanner.
when the iphone 6 came out, if you had the 5s it wasn't that big of an upgrad...

This is a portable iteration of resident evil that's why it's coming to the switch. There is no resident evil 7 for the switch. That's wishful thinking
Nintendo doesn't even have a home console out in the market. So I wouldn't say it is a three horse race. That's just wishful thinking.

My PS4 pro sits quite amiably next to my Xbox one s on the same shelf under my tv.
They don't bicker with each other or throw words and insults at each other. And don't accuse each other of being fanboys.

Stop thinking about future consoles and try and get a game out this gen to compete with forza 7 or even forza 6. And forza horizon series.

Bayonetta is amazing. And the 360 version was much better looking and performing than the PS3.
Uncharted 4 was long and drawn out for me. However I'm looking forward to getting this and playing it on pro. I wonder if they'll reach 4k checkerboard or 1440p like uncharted 4. Probably 1440p since it's using the same engine.
Edit: I'm confused now. Article says they captured full 4k screenshots. Has it been confirmed full 4k??

That's easy to answer. Lack of COMPELLING games.
Notice i didn't say lack of games like most fanboys shout out. There are tons of games to play on xbox, however, because the majority of those games are also available on PC or PS4, it makes for a less compelling case.

you can upgrade you pistol, cross bow, riffle, shotgun, health, melee attacks or axe in tomb raider. all of which is absent from tomb raider. you can also hunt deer, wolfs, bears, cougars, or rabbits and gather resources to craft weapons/ammo or upgrades to your weapons...
the two franchises are similar in theme, but i find tomb raider to have much richer gameplay.

However, there was one unfortunate thing that broke the spell the gameplay video had me under and that was the AI.

That's awesome. They delivered a great system designed to play games first. And supplied the system with great games in addition to strong 3rd party support. And as a result they earned many a gamer's dollar.
Seems like devs and gamers alike were happy with the PS4. And thy also forced the competition to step their game up drastically.
