I see your point, but as a gamer wouldnt' you be happy about xbox's decision? There's one less barrier in your way to play a game. Say you wanted to play forza horizon 3. well you don't have to buy a xbox one now, u can get it on your pc. do you care to play forza horizon 3 or that xbox one has "exclusives" ?
hypothetically, if your a gamer with an xbox one only. and sony says, hey uncharted 4 is coming to xbox one. would you say "yay! i ...
I have no interest in the first Knack. But as someone who loves a good game, I'm hoping they can create something special with the second outing in this franchise.
MS is in the position they are because they don't have many quality first party studios to makes games like Nintendo or Sony. It wasn't much of an issue for them last gen, because 360 was a better designed system than the PS3. 360 was the standard system games were developed for, then ported over to PS3 and 360 versions were superior. Developers also found better sales numbers on 360 and due to the system being easier to develop for than PS3's cell processor, developers wanted ...
Hmm so everyone agrees with this... Even though you wouldn't need a 3DS anymore because it wouldn't have any "exclusives". Why buy a 3DS if you can just play it's games on a Switch.
But MS gives you a Windows version of a game if you buy the Xbox game (and vice versa) and it's largely critisized.
I'm playing the first one now and enjoying it, so this is on my radar!
If MS cared for players they would have cared/talked about this issue DAY ONE.
They are in trouble now and looking at the market from a place of humble humility instead of arrogance and bravado.
That being said, this is an AWESOME initiative and they should all get one board. Imagine how amazing it would be if you could play you favorite multi-platform with any of your friends no matter if they had the xbox windows or playstation version.
...
that would be the last thing the competition needs!
God of war 3 left me disappointed so hoping 4 is great.
A lot of video comparisons now for this one game.
What shit are they shovelling to customers and what business practices are you referring to?
Well wether it is or isn't selling better. And whatever the numbers are, are of minimal importance to me.
I don't really care how the one x sells. And I don't disagree without numbers we don't know. All we know is that it's currently ranked higher on amazon best sellers. For whatever that may be worth.
I'm not sure myself, but i've seen it pop up in a few forums and also in the article it self.
It looks like amazon tracks sales and top sellers for the year and ranks them, and the fact that one x is higher in the ranking would mean that more people have "purchased" it thru pre-orders than people have purchased pros.
Are people missing the fact that just the number of pre orders so far have surpassed the PS4 pro sales for the year on amazon? That's impressive ms must be glad.
Let that sink in. In the short time that pre orders have been available. More people have preordered a one x than people have purchased PS4 pros all year!
Good. Hope they have some nice stuff I can play on my one s.
With the one x news every acting like it's s new generation or something and forgetting about the one S. They way people are going on about "launch titles" and "nothing to play " on Xbox one x you'd think that a new generation is starting. And you'd thinking these are 2 different systems. There's a feeling like you need a Xbox one x to play these future unannounced games.
I already played this game in 2015 on xbox one. enjoyed the heck out it at that time. i'm looking for NEW expereinces on xbox. not looking to replay games. This patch is significant' it's technically some sort of free remaster or something.
anyways i was excited for one x but more and more i'm thinking to just stick with the pro and xbox one s. all microsoft games are gonna be future and backward compatible right? all the good stuff they have int he ...
@King_Lothric
smh.. that did happen. many xbox 360 fans did buy ps4 instead of sticking with xbox ones.
Most agree competition is good for the consumer, but MS presents an example where their entry in space negatively affected consumers. We pay for expensive consoles, games are expensive and we also pay for internet access. We used to expect that when we buy a game, the multiplayer portion is included. Xbox changed the game, we now have to pay extra to play online with our friends. Opposite of PC, PS3 and Wii U. No doubt the move to charge for online multiplayer with PS4 and Switch are MS influ...
Lately I've been having some internal conflict or change of heart regarding MS. I've owned all xbox consoles so far. The original, 360 elite and traded my xbox one for the xbox one s, and up until recently been eagerly anticipating trading in my one s for a one x. I've also owned every competing PS consoles. The PS2, PS3, and PS4. I had the PS4 at launch and the xbox one a year later after the price drops and removal of kinect. The PS4 was a dust collector, playing only Resogun at...
System didn't even launch yet? what are they talking about? what's with the premature articles?
That's a very good point about carrying only one portable. I didn't think about that.
