They do it do themselves too. another example is there youtube policy and how they treated gamers giving their games free publicity.
Nintendo lost me as a customer. The switch is so unexciting to me. Absolutely nothing on it could not have also been released on the wii u. the porting between systems should be both ways, in stead of switch getting all wii u ports, wii u should also get some switch ports, like Odyssey.
Recent years of bad policies and decisions have finally added up and turned me off of Nintendo. PlayStation and Xbox is the way forward for me as a gamer.

Why would this be an issue for Xbox one x? It isn't a Nintendo console, there's tons of content on Xbox. Since last gen Sony dropped the ball and allowed the Xbox 360 to become a competitor. Sony couldn't keep 360 locked out like it did the original Xbox with the ps2 and as a result now Xbox basically gets stronger third party support. Much more so than Nintendo.

Interesting POV. I kind of disagree w/ you. PS2 was a juggernaut. A perfect storm coming for the market. They hype of PS2 alone killed Dreamcast. Which by the way had an excellent games library. Sonic Adventure, Powerstone, Crazy Taxi, Soul Caliber etc.. Interesting article and cool comparison. Shows how much of a miss step the original Xbox one was in terms of power. Xbox has always been about power. Xbox killed ps2 and cube and even the Wii which released after it. And 360 beat the PS3 even tho 360 released a year ahead. That's very impressive hardware design. It can only mean one thing. They were comfortable letting things play out as they are dominant at the moment. But because of their premature release of PS4 pro they are now forced to move up the release date of the next system (PS5) to compete with Scorpio's power advantage.
