That didn't take long. The second comment in the PS5 article is about Xbox one.
The Wii u was a new system. The one x isn't.
It's like if u have a 500gb hard drive and there's a new model with a 2TB drive and your asking if it will bomb. It's literally a b tree speced Xbox.
Or like last gen having the arcade 360 and asking if the pro model will bomb.
Different then. And different now. Probably they want to capitalize on the growth of 4k tv sales. 360 was the first HD system. Looks like they'd like a system now that can fully push the 4 k displays. So the current systems aren't to great for that. Hence u see things like one x and the pro.
They came a year later than the pro and it seems to be nuh better designed for devs. Not just better specs
I used to think so but not sure anymore. I've always had all systems. But with all of them requiring paid online now kind of makes each a services. And who really gets 3 of the same services?
Imagine subscribing to 3 cable providers or 3 cell phone services because each is a little different.
Only the most serious enthusiast will have to have all. Even then, ms makes a case for not needing a Xbox if you're also a pc owner. But that's a big if ...
Love all the support that the one x is getting. I'm waiting to see if rise of tomb raider will have an update. Surprised we haven't heard anything yet. But I'm hopeful it's because they are doing something special and gonna give us rise of tomb raider at native 4k 60 fps.
I'll trade my one s for it. Will be easy all games currently on external drive.
Well things are getting back to normal. For every previous generation Xbox has played multiplats better than PlayStation. Xbox > ps2. 360>PS3. And now corrected XB1>Pro.

Imagine some money behind those ips with big triple a development. Some fun games.
System isn't even out yet. What we've seen so far and has been so impressive amounts to launch tittle and devs have quickly ported things over in days and weeks.
In time devs will utilize it and max it out like all systems
I'll probably purchase this. I like this kind of game. Enjoyed 3D world and ratchet and clank nice for Xbox to get some platformer diversity In their line up too.

Yeah and we're looking at the smallest of differences. In ps2 gen were we pixel counting and freeze framing and seeing which version dipped from 30 fps to 28.8fps? Even from 360/PS3 gen to now people are looking at smaller differences. Not just resolution but dithering effects shadow quality etc.
I'm not saying it will affect sales just saying the comparison falls apart due to the different times it isn't one to one.

i never click on their articles anymore. whether pro xbox or not. pro ps4 or not. utter garbage.
forbes is a waste of time. they are literally the worse when it comes to games journalism. you can't compare xbox being more powerful than ps2 to xbox one x being more powerful than PS4. it's a different time now. Back then it was hard to see the graphical difference, now, you just go on youtube and stream side by side comparisons from nxgamer or digital foundry.

You don't give people enough credit. People know that there is 1080p and then there is 4k.
They make the decision of what cable service to subscribe too. What tv to buy. What blu ray player to buy what kinda of disc to buy the 1080 blue case blu ray or the 4k uhd black case with HDR.
Just like they can decide to buy 1080 or 4k they can decide to buy one s or one x?
