its nice to see some colour in games but this looks quite frankly like its designed for ps2.

have to agree. was talking to a mate of mine that was saying how hard dev for ps3 actually is. more and more devs are easing into it dont get me wrong but to use a technical term "its an absoluted b1tch" to develop for.

its sad, gamespy always stay within a couple points of ign anyway, but how this game has come up with a 4 is beyond me. i've played the demo and while haze isn't the triple AAA title everyone thought it was going to be, it certainly isn't a poor game, hell its not even average. they are really saying this game is worse than blacksite? worse than some really quite shocking titles in the 4-6 bracket on ps3? i think not.

again (i'm sorry) but 4.5 for this game is a ludicrous score. even Blacksite pulled in a 6.0 and that was terribly made.

to be fair they have been releasing games. just not on next gen consoles. guess handhelds are easier to develop for when you are not producing a brand new engine for ps3 from scratch - ie this supposed white engine SE have been tooting.

i have to say i'm disappointed with the demo, but to get a poor rating from IGN is a bit of a pisstake. the graphics are alright - not great i'll grant you but a 4 rating? no way. as to gameplay, its FPS - it does exactly what it says on the tin. it may not innovate or even revitalise the genre but its still an alright FPS.
from the demo haze is not worth more than a "good" rating in the press, but anything less tha...
yeah coz Alan Wait is really pushing the boat out in graphics isn't it? and thats assuming you get a chance to play it before your console RRODS and the disk scratches beyond repair.
