game looks awesome, am waiting on the reviews but assuming they haven't fuked up the gameplay, i reckon this actually will be the best Star Wars game there is: and i was a diehard "Knights of the Old Republic" fan.
while he does make some sense with his comments about low vs high end pc's. lucas arts could quite happily set a minimum spec for the game, as all pc games currently do. (the minimum system requirements on back of gamebox.)
if they dont want the experience to be that much different just set the bar for minimum specs at mid-high end pc's. how is this an issue?

your right that the visuals are getting better and while i agree this is a gameplay title not a visual title, IMO it still has a lot to do.

its not all about the hardcores/install base. its about popular culture. games in that sense arn't really all that different from any other media outlet.
i have to say as well that Wii is pushing 400,000 sales a week at the moment according to VG...which is incredible. currently with 25million users its probably liklely to be the only platform with a chance of getting near GTA with an exclusive game... at least, on paper
nice to get the figures in one. lot of ppl have been saying GT5 wont sell as gt5prologue only sold 2 million copies. gt4p sold 1.36 mill copies and then gt4 (full game) went on to sell 10 million copies.
i think the full game will be huge, or at least i hope so. i love GT franchise and with additions like top gear episodes and stuff as DLC its just a great bit of media.
San ANdreas's final mission was a pain in the ass.
any1 who knows diablo 2 should know durial was a pain in the ass to kill at times.
only other thing i can think of is nuke facility on COD4 when playing on higher levels. respawn of enemies is GHEY.

- GOW will probably just fall short of MGS4 sales i reckon
- RE5 i didn't realise was multiplat. still i dont think it'll get anywhere near GTA, though might compete with halo 3 numbers if what you say is true. personally though i think it'll be hard pushed to do so.
-Tekken to be perfectly honestly with you will do well to be in the top 5 game software sales for week when its released.
-only other thing i can think of is Star Wars "force unleashed"...
its got good drift style, and although you only get a couple cars they seem pretty well balanced. rest of it is a bit meh. i sound like such a fanboy but i actually prefer gt5p w/out damage
