@Pintheshadows
13-2 contains a complete story.
You are presented with an objective, you complete it and you win.
The issue people have with the ending is immediately after you complete your objective something happens that is not expected.
This unexpected event has a cliff hanger that could either lead into another game, or some have suggested that it would lead to DLC.
Some people see this as an incomplete ...
@Siren30
"If nearly every other region has multiplats selling better on the ps3 than why is it when a worldwide chart comes out it still shows 360 games selling better?"
Example from VGChartz:
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 X360
8.65 US (outsold ps3)
3.84 EU
0.08 JAP
1.34 OTHER
13.91 TOTAL (outsold ps3)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 PS3
5.06 US
4.36 EU (outsol...

I got the impression that he is seriously saying what he thinks of the game.
He also appears to believe his personal opinion is fact. Many other people have played the game and have a very different opinion of it.
@Tachyon_Nova
Graphics matter to some people but not to others.
That is why you will see both stated in n4g forums because you have many different people expressing their own personal opinions.
I think the shooter genre is tired so ... gasp ... I agree with EA.
However I would use the more general statement that all FPS are tired (this includes EA games).
The current xbox has kinect, fees to access online services that includes a contract.
Why are you surprised that Microsoft would do this for the next generation?
From article:
"We wanted to try something new, and break into this open-world RPG genre, but of course include all the Capcom elements that we have in a lot of our games."
Sigh. I was looking forward to this game until I knew it had Capcom elements in it.
For a game to be made in the "normal" way a company is formed and the company looks for investors to support the costs of game development. If they can find investors the game gets made. If they can't the company folds.
The only real difference I see from kickstarter from how games are typically made is kickstarter asks gamers to support the development costs and gives them the game while the traditional method involves asking publishers for money to develop the...
@DrStabwounds
From article:
"We're told that the two-year subscription will provide access to the Xbox Live Gold service and possibly some additional streaming content from cable providers or sports package providers."
It sounds like it does include XBox Live Gold to me.
I should have pointed out that you can get a gold subscription for a discount as well but I can't edit the comment anymore.
... and it only costs $10 to unlock each hour of content!
I'm waiting until I know what is actually included before I consider buying it. It's capcom so there is no way this is a day one purchase for me.
xbox: $99 for xbox 4 gig version (- $100)
subscription: 12 months * $15 = $180
Kinect: included
For one year (not on option): $99 + $180 = $279
For two years: $99 + $180 + $180 = $459
vs
xbox: $199 for xbox 4 gig
subscription: $60 per year for gold subscription
Kinect: $150
For one year: $199 + $60 + $150 = $409
For two years: $199 + $60 + $60 + $150 = $469
You ...
Doh, that should say:
EA blames pirates and says they will add even more draconian measures WHICH are required to combat people who legally purchased their software ... ummm I mean pirates.
... in unrelated news: EA sales continue to drop.
EA blames pirates and says they will add even more draconian measures are required to combat people who legally purchased their software ... ummm I mean pirates.
I already bought it and I don't even have Prototype 2!
I guess all you n4g users don't want to support the industry. Traitors!

I tried the demo and I liked it.
The only concern I have with the game is it is being released by capcom which has a very bad reputation for being a little too creative when it comes to getting money from customers.
I think I'll wait a month or two before deciding to buy it so that I know what the game includes.
Technically you're correct.
It's not possible for people outside of the US to play multiplayer anymore.
That doesn't mean people outside of the US wouldn't play it if they could.
If someone paid full price for a movie at a theater only to discover it was 10 minutes long a lot of people would be very pissed off.
Why do we never see reviewers claiming 10 minute movies are fine?!
People have certain expectations about how much entertainment they should be getting for their dollar.
$60 for 6 hours = $10 per hour
$60 for 100 hours = $0.60 per hour
A 6 hour game for $60 doesn't meet most gamers ...
OMG! Ranma1 is STILL trolling Final Fantasy articles.
Ranma1, you said you would never play the game so your assessment of the game is dubious at best.
The first thing I thought of when I read "realism combat mod" was the player running away from dragons, or being instantly eaten by them.
I doubt that is what you had in mind.
