Just so you guys know 1:1 is different than no lag.
1:1 means your actions are mimicked exactly on screen as you do them, which the closest thing to that right now is Move which shows some good examples of 1:1 with sports champions.
Lag is a different monster. It is hard to eliminate lag, even the Dualshock and Xbox controller have lag.
A lot of new things sound stupid until you see how its used.
I'll be honest I'm skeptical, but Sony has never sold me a playstation product that was stupid. At least in my opinion. So they must have something planned for it, they always are trying to innovate.
First thing that pops in my mind is they want to eliminate touching the screen, smudges it and blocks gameplay.
Agreed, always used the bots for Killzone
Hey whats up Fishy
names Brian, nice to meet you. Now you know someone thats not getting Black Ops that has MW2 haha. But really I'm not getting it cause my bro is buying it for his Xbox, I'll play it on there if I get the urge.
But you makes some good points
Can't really understand you english too well, but that doesn't have to do with the article, and quite frankly its a bad argument, since it can easily be shut down.
Its part of the beta, were you play Bots instead of real players.
Well he's an analyst,
But in reality he's just a guy that says insane things just to get attention. And by being wrong, which he is a lot, he gets even more attention.
Just got my code, YES. 9:01pm.
I was a bit skeptical to Lifendz, but I use a few survey web sites that I can get Amazon gift cards for taking surveys. I used the money I got from that to buy Move, and I'll probably do the same for the Nav controller. But when games like KZ3 and Sorcery come out thats when I'll use my cash.
Thats like saying release the Playstation 5 before the Playstation 4 really gets going, just because the PS5 should be better and more enjoyable than the PS4. But heres the catch, the PS5 isn't perfected and doesn't play well at the time.
You see where I'm going with this? PS5 = glasses free 3D TV, PS4 = Glasses
I don't know about others, but the fact that you said "many bugs" and not "any bugs" shows that you've at least seen some.
And games with bugs shouldn't be overlooked, especially if the bugs are so obvious that the developer could have easily spotted them and issued a fix. I've also heard people complain of freezing, that to me is not minor by any means, that is a major bug.
I don't doubt that the game is great, haven&...
I contributed to that number this week.
@ Necrum
I don't think people are understanding you. You are saying it would be nice to bring $150 plus tax and buy the console.
Not pay $200 plus tax and get the $50 dollars back later, or for another purchase.
2 out of 6, thats 33.3%. Isn't that variety?
But can you think of any others of different backgrounds?
And I don't mean to be an ass either haha, just askin.
First, when games have an unknown release date typically the last date of the year is used as a place holder to say it should be out before years end. For example, lets say Crysis 2 got delayed, the release date would probably say 12/31/2011 if they still thought it was releasing that year.
Second, @Darth, guys at Gamestop think they know everything. A lot of them purely work on opinions because they know little more than what we know. I've seen some guys at my local g...
Honestly at this time in the industry with what other developers are pushing out, yes, I kind of would expect Crysis 1 level graphics Pandamobile.
I don't expect full anit aliasing or anything like that, but as far as graphics, yes.
@ Pedrami, def agree, honestly I expected much better based on what they were promising. This video surprised me, not in a good way. And yeah I know its Alpha, but other games in Alpha look much better.
Well, shutupandplay
they should probably also know this is WEEK data. Year Over Year WEEK data. So its not the big picture, and frankly not terribly important. More important figures would be monthly and annual.
I read the article. Its clearly opinions, so I'm not going to take it to serious.
But the article is a fail. Honestly, it probably would have been out already for Xbox, but it wouldn't have been the same level of quality. I'm talking overall, graphics, physics, lighting, car models, weather models, etc. It's all based off the hardware and how its used.
Plus Xbox has Forza, just be happy with that. It's not a terrible game.
Really? Not only was that unnecessary, but honestly expected, but really?
I can see if the numbers were double, sure, why not say "yay".
@ Commodore
The game you showed for move, the Fight Lights Out, is gesture based last I heard, so it is not really tracking your motion for what it is. So its not really fair to say that Move in general has problems with 1:1 purely based off that game.
A better example of a game tracking exactly what your doing is Sports Champions, Tumble, etc. Games that are supposed to mimic your exact movements.
I for one was honestly disappointed with t...
