This is proof that serious game developers need to stay far from the Wii. Don't bother making a big game for it. You won't have good sales. The Wii is a gimmicky console. If your game doesn't use some odd controller and make the player jump around like an idiot don't bother making it for the Wii.
I think this is unfair to U.S. developers. The developer isn't really the one deciding the money side. That's the publisher. They tell the developers what they can do. They have the money. But I see plenty of great games coming from U.S. developers. At least on the PS3. Sony has some great U.S. talent that makes some of the best games. I guess this is more about EA and how they tell their people to make another of whatever game and just add one to the number at the end. That is getting pretty...
I didn't even see the 3.5 before you mentioned it. Their system isn't very good. The rating blends into the text. But where do you get the out of 4 part? I don't see anything on their site that says they give up to 4. What kind of rating system is that though if they do? Not the best way to rate games.
The review was actually too long as far as I'm concerned. The title ruined the whole review. And then you're forced to read all his drivel since you can't see an easy way to see what he thinks. Just a bunch of nothing really.
Is he paid for his opinion? Too much boom? What a dork. My recommendation to him is either buy Tomb Raider or make his own tomb raiding game. Naughty Dog never said this game is Tomb Raider. It's Uncharted. A better game.
What a lame headline. PS3 misstep. There was one sentence about that. Mostly it's about game price drops. You PS3 hater losers can get lives already. I guess you have lots of free time since your Xbox 1.5 is in the shop. Bwahaha.
People looking at it that way are thinking wrong. Prologue is more a gift. A gift you have to pay for but still a gift. It's Sony's way of giving us a game to play while waiting for the real game. It might be a demo but it's big. No other demo gives you all that Prologue will. You don't have to buy it though. You can always wait for GT5.
I haven't kept up on steering wheels. I just did a search for the G25 and Logitech's site has it at $299.99, not $250. That is a lot of money. I had a steering wheel before but I got rid of it. I just couldn't set it up in my livingroom so I was comfortable. The regular controller is fine for me anyway.

Is Ratchet & Clank out in the UK yet? This reviewer said Uncharted is the first reason he's had in months to use his PS3. Anyone who is a real gamer should play Ratchet & Clank Future.
You can't force gamers to have good taste. IF that was possible Ratchet & Clank Future would be selling huge and Assassin's Creed and Kane & LYnch would be in the bargain bin. Too many gamers fall for the hype though.
I don't see one single Xbox 1.5 game that makes me want to buy that junk. The PS3 has lots of games worth buying and this time next year you'll be crying to mommy to buy you a PS3.
Casual gamers are trying hard to ruin gaming. I hope we surive this disaster. Casual gamers aren't going to buy many games. The Wii is a fad. It will die soon because casual gamers just can't support an industry. Smart game publishers will stay away from too many casual games. Make games for hardcore gamers. We're the ones who got them to where they are now. We're the ones who keep them in business. Anyone who isn't serious about something is too risky to count on to keep buying.

If I liked Nintendo games I might buy a Wii but they bore me so no thanks. I also don't like Nintendo's elitist attitude. People talk about Sony acting high and mighty. Right. She's confusing what makes someone a casual gamer. EA most likely sees a casual gamer as someone who buys a game here and there but never really gets into gaming. They play a couple games a year. Maybe a few.
I see hard core gamers as people who are online on forums. Who read up on all the games. Who play lots of games a year. Just because a game isn't a shooter doesn't mean that gamer is a casual gamer. Maybe they're a hard core gamer who plays casual games.
