Dying Light 2 is freaking awesome and it's the only reason I haven't booted up Cyberpunk to check it out. I just can't pull myself away from DL2 yet, what a game!
I'll be checking it out later today, but I've heard nothing but good things. People have said they made the city feel more lively and robust and that people react more realistically. The AI has been bumped considerably. One friend said it feels like a totally different game. Looks to be the product they promised it to be from the start.
Wow sounds like they checked every single box! This is CDPRs legacy... Release it broken to huge sales, apologize profusely until releasing multiple fixes to get the game to where it should have been when it came out.
And we ain't even mad cuz the fixes go above and beyond what most devs do and they throw in a crapload of DLC for free as a gesture of goodwill! It's so frustrating being an early adopter in these times.
Yes it absolutely is. The creators of Dead Island moved on to make Dying Light series and Dead Island 2's corpse has been passed around several studios, ending up in Dambusters lol. Nobody cares about this thing anymore. I was looking forward to it way back when but I don't trust the studio that tried to save Homefront.
Had the game delivered on its promises I can only imagine how huge the launch would have been. But as it stands we were all had. Sincerely hoping they can pull it together for the New Gen versions!
It wasn't fair to gamers for sure. Especially those of us that bought the overpriced special editions and console bundles. I got the Xbox One X Cyberpunk bundle. While it was a decent looking system, it's value as a collectible is completely shot.
The Artful Escape was great! I checked it out on Gamepass and loved every minute! That was trippy as hell and a totally unexpected thrill ride. I highly recommend that one!
Why they didn't just delay it until now is beyond me. All that negative press, but hey they still made a ton of money off gullible gamers who believed the hype. Hopefully the new gen versions are great at least. I stopped playing this after only a few hours in and have looked forward to getting back into it without all the bugs.
What the hell sort of voodoo did they pull to get this to look that good on the base model PS4?! This kinda proves that we didn't need new consoles yet, especially with the year that was wasted due to the scamdemic. It is sad that reviews are so divisive. If you enjoyed the first one you'll probably enjoy this one too so the fact that someone else didn't enjoy it doesn't mean it's not a great game. Maybe that person just doesn't like these kind of games?

Well these reviews will not taint my enjoyment one bit. It's just their opinion after all. They just didn't like it that much. Also gave HZD a low score and I absolutely loved that game! I am confident this will be exactly what I'm looking for in a Horizon sequel.

Halo, Gears and Forza are all great so don't understand the issue there. Forza has the sim version and Forza horizon, which each iteration becomes the standard by which other racing games are judged, but yeah they all suck in your opinion.

They would be much more likely to sell to Microsoft if anything. But that's not happening either unless they screw up their next system. Stockholders will not go for another Wii u situation.
Alot of people didn't seem to care about the MP in the Uncharted games but I thought it was a blast! Yeah it's basic, but its 3rd person pew-pew was actually kind of cool with the maps they had. Plus it still had the Uncharted magic, just with other people shooting at you instead of AI goons.
