PS4 had the more diverse exclusive lineup in 2015, Xbox One was mostly the same generic lineup.
PS4 has much more exclusives listed for 2016 and even if some are delayed then the PS4 lineup will still be better. Quantum Break was delayed to 2016 but I am sure that doesn't count to you.

Killer PS4 lineup in 2016.
Better than Xbox One having mostly nothing for the first nine months of each year and the generic emphasis on Halo, Forza and Gears of War. A lack of diversity is the hallmark of Xbox One's exclusive lineup. Xbox One's lineup is looking better for 2016 but still can't match the PS4's diverse exclusive lineup.
Even with a lack of first party releases, PS4 continues to deliver the most diverse range of exclusives and console exclusives.
In 2015:
Bloodborne
The Order: 1886
Helldivers
MLB The Show 15
Tales of Zestiria
Disgaea 5
Dragon Quest Heroes
Everybody's Gone to the Rapture
Tearaway Unfolded
Until Dawn

Discounting sales, good year for Sony but nothing more. Good mix of PS4 exclusives but delays of Uncharted 4 and The Tomorrow Children was unfortunate. 2016 looks massively better for PS4 exclusives, at the moment anyway. Strong range of third party titles though. Third party timed exclusive content is also an absolute disservice to all gamers, the focus should be on first party content.
PS4 also still doesn't have basic functionality like game folders and friend notifica...
Agree, PS4 install base should be close to 40 million by then as well.
"At the end of last year, there was a feeling that Sony had basked in its good favour long enough, and that it was time to get to work on some of its promises. Turns out that the good favour has lasted another 12 months, and the promises are starting to pile up. 2016's party is going to have to be pretty special".

I don't agree with your assessments. Funny how AAA titles like Fallout 4, Bloodborne and many other AAA titles or new IP's have been released but very little from Sony's own studios. If PS4 sales were half of what they are I can guarantee that more titles would have released. These game delays will save money for Sony as the console is selling like hotcakes anyway. This also funds third party 'deals' which is one of the more loathsome aspects of modern gaming. And no, thi...
Mostly agree with your assessment but B- for me. Sony's studios have been mostly very slow in releasing games and there is no reason a few of these AAA games couldn't have been released late this year considering PS4 is now two years old. The PS4 still lacking basic features is also very poor. It seems to me that Sony in some respects have been doing the bare minimum this gen, hopefully not too many of the big games announced for 2016 are delayed until 2017.
and SOMA.
I'm sure that the NX will be quite different to the Xbox One and PS4 but am not certain it will be widely popular. Without strong third party support it will likely end up as a niche console like Wii U. It would be a good selling point to be the most powerful console as well and there is no reason it can't be.
I don't see NX releasing until late 2016 at the earliest and competition will then be fierce with PS4 and Xbox One having steller exclusives lined up for 20...
Xbox One will do well with a strong list of exclusives. PS4 will dominate with an awesome list of exclusives.
The Tomorrow Children looks pretty incredible on PS4 using the special lighting technique cascaded voxel cone ray tracing.
Mine (PS4):
Killing Floor 2
Dirt Rally
F1 2016
The Tomorrow Children
Doom
Wishlist: Left 4 Dead 3, Motorstorm.
What I want:
- Firmware update with friend notifications option, proper game folders, option to change PSN Id, option to use user provided backgrounds and ability to utilise external hard drives.
- Release a revised controller with enhanced battery life.
- Reduced emphasis on third party timed exclusive content.
Wishlist:
- Not many games scheduled for 2016 delayed to 2017.
