Free to play with optional subscriptions.
I have the game on PS4 and really like it but having multiple season passes is a new low for this game. Their DLC model is disgraceful.
Microsoft is desperate to cover up the lack of games throughout the year by putting its big games in the last quarter of the year.
Sony have a lot of announced games with no release dates yet. Many of these exclusives\console exclusives/timed exclusives should release in the second half of this year:
No Man's Sky, Firewatch, The Tomorrow Children, Rime, Abzu, The Witness, The Forest, Persona 5, Killing Floor 2, WiLD, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, Drawn to Death and SNOW.
Really? Uncharted 4, Street Fighter 5, Horizon: Zero Dawn and The Last Guardian.
Nice writeup. I agree that Sony is perhaps the wildcard and I hope they don't overshadow their exclusives by too much talk about VR, PS Vue etc.
No, already announced to release spring next year alongside the movie.
I think Sony will spend too much time talking about VR, PS Now, PS Vue and third party partnerships like Star Wars Battlefront and new Destiny DLC etc. I hope I am wrong but I don't think there will be too many surprises. Sony have a lot to cover in two hours.
Would love to see for PS4:
Horizon confirmation and details.
New Killzone.
New Motorstorm.
Release dates for this year for The Tomorrow Children, No Man's Sky and Killing Floor 2.
No PS4 gamers cannot play with PC gamers. This is due to the Sony patch certification process.
Xbox One's so called VR will be streaming games via PC and it will be like playing games in a cinema. It is not true VR and is beyond rediculous. This is very limited, unlike Sony's version of VR.
By my reckoning this is the list of PS4 exclusives, console or timed exclusives or remasters for the rest of 2015 so far. Pretty strong list with more to come.
Planetside 2 - June
God of War 3 - July
Everybody's gone to the Rapture - August
Until Dawn - August
Tearaway Unfolded - September
SOMA - September
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection - October
Dragon Quest Heroes - October
Tales of Zestiria - Octob...
Because AAA exclusives are seen as the be all and end all and indies and console exclusives etc don't seem to count even though some will undoubtably be awesome. Great diverse lineup for PS4 this year.
Powers is a joke. Outside the U.S. in the countries it has been released it is only accessible behind a pay wall. Even the first episode released to youtube is locked to U.S. users only.
Agree that PS4 has a great range of console exclusives this year which I am really looking forward too. It annoys me, however, when many of these games are discounted by gamers as they are also on PC. I think that the amount of gamers who game on PC and console is miniscule anyway. Looking forward to such games as Wander, SNOW and The Forest. PS4 has an incredibly diverse range of games coming this year.
The following are PS4 exclusives that have come out or are coming out this year that are not coming to any other platform:
Alienation, Fat Princess Adventures, The Tomorrow Children, Until Dawn, The Order: 1886, Bloodborne, Brawl, Guns Up! and Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance.
Probably more to be announced at E3 including release dates for exclusives Rime, Abzu, WiLD, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture and Drawn to Death.
According to this article one third of PS4 owners came from Xbox 360 and Wii.

Heaps more console exclusive games though for PS4 spread throughout the year.
A lot of gamers like me went from Xbox 360 to PS4 so I think PS4 will go on outselling Xbox One 2:1 worldwide. PS4 also has a more diverse range of games and stronger brand recognition.
Add The Tomorrow Children as well for PS4.
