I think Sony changed tack this gen to mainly focus on third party exclusive content, indies and console exclusives. Yes, there is a lot of AAA exclusives in development but my guess is funding for internal studios has been reduced so releases will be more spaced out.
I think PS4 has a very diverse game lineup this year and will schedule a AAA exclusive for late this year to replace Uncharted 4. I also think Uncharted trilogy remakes will be released late this year in the Sep-...
I think Xbox One will have a great E3. Microsoft are really bringing it this year.
PS4 has a far more diverse line up of games so it won't matter that Xbox One will have more AAA exclusives in the second half of the year.
I think PS4 and Xbox One will be replaced about 2020 with them being supported for a few more years after that.
Wow Halo 1 working perfectly on Xbox One. Lol
PS4 has a better variety of games spread out over the year, not mostly placed from September to November like Microsoft does. So no, Microsoft does not own this year. E3 is still to come, reckon Sony will have a AAA game announcement to replace Uncharted 4 late this year. Should also have release dates for promising games like Tomorrow Children, WiLD, No Man's Sky etc. Great year for PS4.
This game is very different to Forza.
I think the game looks OK but I think that it was branded as a Battlefield game to try and leverage off the established franchise. Which to me is very cynical and just plain wrong as it is not a Battlefield game by any stretch of the imagination.
Maybe with a hard drive and no disk drive, I think that all games may be downloadable. However, I think game streaming is a horrible idea which would always have a degree of latency that would be unacceptable for FPS and driving games etc.
It's funny how many gamers want games at 60fps for crisp controller response yet game streaming will probably always have a degree of latency which somehow seems acceptable to these same gamers. I think game streaming is a horrible idea which, at best, should only be an option.
I really like the game but the DLC pricing is obscene. I will wait until the pricing is much reduced.
I reckon a new Xbox and PS will be released about 2021. The longer the cycle the more profit from hardware (as component costs reduce) and more software sales from increasingly larger console install bases. With improved software and use of compute etc for the consoles I think game graphics will be much improved in a few years or so for both consoles. And regarding 4K, I think it will be close to 2020 before it becomes mainstream. That is, there is sufficient content available on a world wide...
LOL, PS4 will always dominate, it's not hype. I also expect a AAA game to replace Uncharted 4 later this year. Some of the 2015 PS4 games are listed below. The Xbox One lineup this year will be pretty stellar but it won't beat PS4s very diverse lineup.
Exclusives. The Order 1886, Bloodborne, MLB 15 The Show, WiLD, Abzu, Alienation, Rime, Everybody's gone to the Rapture, The Tomorrow Children, Drawn to Death, Ratchet and Clank remake, Tearaway Unfolded remake. <...
"Your only choice to date was The Golf Club, which provides a far from perfect golfing experience".
What a load of rubbish, I can't see PGA Tour getting near the quality of The Golf Club. And 'the most realistic golf-sim around'. I don't think they've played any of the previous games. Of course a 'sim' golf game is played on a Battlefield. This has to be a EA sponsored article or satire, I'm just not sure which.
Sony will schedule a AAA game to replace it.
Also, PS4 has plenty of promising PC ports coming this year. Like Planetside 2, SNOW, Wander, Killing Floor 2 and The Forest. Sony will dominate 2015.
Xbox One will never win the holidays. They are too weak outside of US and UK.
Because it was only a year since PS4 launch. There is a lot of games from Sony owned studios that have not yet been announced that would have been in development for years.
Maybe in the US and UK, PS4 dominated the rest of the world.
LOL. Sony has had a lot more games and a much more diverse line up of games since launch than Xbox One. My guess is there will be one AAA exclusive to replace Uncharted 4 late this year but Sony has so many console exclusives and timed exclusives for this year it won't matter.
