What you didnt see was the hundreds of attempts it took to get those few kills. Imaginative yes. Really skilled? Debatable.
I just wish they would hurry up and talk about kinect. Its what all us hardcore gamers really care about. Im thinking it'll be a mandatory optional requirement that all games perhaps offer some sort of possible kinect integration except for those games that exercise the option to maybe decline to provide the functionality.
I thought the EA deal was rumour nor confirmed fact. No...wait, my mistake. I forgot this was N4G and the two are the same.
I think we'll see a tech demo for cod, they're unlikely to launch the next gen version until next year I think. Bigger fan base on current gen. Id like a next gen cod this year, although I dont have much faith in the MW brand anymore.

Just because a date is in a game doent mean its related to anything. It could just be to give the time frame for when the game is set. We know the game is set in a modern day time period, not years in the future, without a character having to actually spell that out for us.
Some people, but not enough. You think casuals care about SSB or Zelda? And what other exclusives exactly? How long before those 3rd party exclusives become multiplatform like Rayman?
Wii U isnt at the price point the Wii was either. Its still too expensive to be a viable "second console". Down the line it may pick up sales but for the next 12 months or so its going to be a struggle.
Surely the better strategy is to have solid games coming out every couple of months during that first year lead so that you get more consumers buying your console not saving up for the next offering from your competitors?
Saying "We could release these games but we're going to wait and hope another Mario game can distract people from a new Playstation or Xbox when they launch" is risky and badly thought out.
Nintendo pushed for this early relea...
PS4 has introduced mew features on its gamepad, a light bar which can be used for motion control but can also be used on other ways. Glowing orange when you're firing a weapon to simulate muzzle flash? Pulsing red in time with rumble to simulate s heartbeat when your health is low? Also the touch pad opens up new possibilities. The share button is a cool feature too.
We havent seen what MS has got so we cant speculate (we could, but we shouldnt).
Wii U ha...
Fallout 3 was one of the best gaming experiences I had this generation. That said what I really really want next gen is a characters whose feet actually feel like they are touching the ground instead of that feeling of floating two inches above it.
Many many other games get this right, but never Fallout or Oblivion.
The hidden problem with playstation plus is im only a small website and I want the hits.
Way to copy a story put up last week.
Wow. Its a bit sad that we have an image of a man choking a woman and the two biggest arguements are that Batman couldnt choke wonder woman and that we're making a fuss over nothing.
The sad truth is people see something portrayed in the media, whether its a video game cover, magazine cover, tv advert and see it as being okay. Skinny women being shown in beauty magazines gives the impression that this is what beauty is and what you should be aiming for. Seeing a man choke...
Evolution not revolution.
Thats no bad thing at all.
Wii U fans should be demanding support from every third party, not making excuses as to why its ok one of the biggest publishing houses in the industry is lacking in support for your console.
@taquito
If I were you Id be less concerned about how great your PC rig is and more concerned with how much of a jerk you sound. In the real world nobody cares what your PC is. Personality however....
Some very well put reasoned arguements from the PC crowd in here. I thank you for your maturity.
However I prefer console gaming for ease of use, knowing my hardware choice will still be valid 7-10 years down the line (no need to upgrade that is, knowing my day 1 ps3 is still as valid as one sold today), the exclusives and the ease of plug and play gaming on any tv in any room at anyones house.
Im happy with my choice, as im sure you're all happy with you...
Just got off the phone with Sony. Their updated Vita hardware (release date tbc) doubles as a toaster.
Good question. Am I really in the comments section of N4G??
Whether its true or not they just need to come out and be clear on it. Sony were very clear there wouldnt be backwards compatability and although a lot of flack came their way its better to be open about it than have it come out in an interview post reveal. If the always on features are true for games people are either going to acept it or not, but if MS are open about it people are more likely to accept it.
...
All hype is not equal.
Negative press, people jumping on rumours of unwanted features, having someone resign over poorly worded and offensive comments. This isnt good hype. Its damaging hype.
People should stop trying to justify it because its their console of choice. If Sony were pulling this stuff Id be screaming bloody murder at them.
Since the media are pulling names out of thin air im going to call:
Call of the Battlefield: Elite Snipe Ninja VII
Super Rocket Powered Jelly Pants
Whiskers McCluedo and the Mystery of Ring a Ding Mansion
Aerial Dogfighter Afterburner Extreme Edition
Kinectimals 2
All launch titles. Guaranteed*
*some titles may be delayed, changed or entirely fictional
And therin lies the reason that Crytek are a second tier developer instead of an elite one. Until you understand the balance of graphics and gameplay you'll never make a game regarded as one of the greats.
Heres a hint. Its not 60% graphics.
Crytek make decent games, but they'll never make anything that would be considered a game of the year contender with their current attitude.
The idea behind doing a closed cinference for western distributors and a seperate one for western media is all well and good, but the big E3 conferences are a chance to speak to the world, to show off your goods and drive anticipation and hype. Its not going to work as well with smaller conferences aimed at a western audience.
You're alsoin danger of alienating your eastern market, which is a core sector for Nintendo. Its a risky strategy.
