It wont come to PS4, we'll get a GT Prologue, as always. Its a smart business decision. Expect a PS3 GT6 bundle, reduced in pricevand then GT Prologue on PS4 around early 2015.
No thanks. Just doesnt work for me. Maybe Im too ingrained in console tradition but Steambox, Ouya and their ilk just dont do it for me. Consoles are consoles, with all their good and bad points, Steambox is a Pc masquerading as a console and seems to be neither really.
£300 and £400 sku's and I'll be happy. Make it £250 and £350 and Sony are going to fly out of the gate.
I dont care if its next gen, last gen or current gen. Its irrelevant. The fact is Im simply not interested in buying one. After owning almost every Nintendo console and handheld I cant see anything now or in the near future that makes me want one.
Thsts the real issue for m and for many others.
@etowntwo
Thats a long wait for a train that don't come.
The reality is the best games for the PS4 are probably ones we havent heard of. Uncharted was new this gen. Demon Souls. Journey. Last of Us. Bioshock. Little Big Planet. Assassins Creed. Dead Space. Dishonoured. Red Dead Redemption. Portal. Heavy Rain. Beyond:Two Souls. Mirrors Edge. Resistance. Motorstorm.
Some of the most impressive games available next gen are nothing more than ideas in someones mind right now. Thats what excites me, not a list of games with the numbers 2...
"Greatness awaits"
Its aimed at people without a PS4. For those people greatness awaits once they buy one. It works for everyone up to launch and everyone who doesnt have one post launch. It works just fine.
Agreed but its that very reputation that hurts third party games. Tomb Raider, Bioshock, Battlefield, all skipping WiiU. No Madden, possibly no GTA, the mature games are skipping WiiU. Thats an issue for Nintendo.
BUT...only if their target is a significant slice of the gaming market. Nintendo will always turn a profit, they'll always be able to sell their franchise games, if their happy with that then WiiU wont be a failure. If they were hoping for another Wii then it is...
PS3 = 70 million consoles sold. 10 million Black ops 2 sold. So 1 in 7 ratio.
WiiU = 3.5 million sold. 200,000 BO2 sold. Ratio 1 in 17.
That make the maths clearer for you?
This is Nintendos problem...
"I will buy it..."
"Im still getting it..."
Lots of people saying they'll buy it, but no one actually is. Everyone has their reasons why they havent bought it yet, but the fact is that its been out several months and people dont see it as an essential purchase.
Until the install base hits 10m plus, developers arent going to risk spending money on porting a game to a system where sales are going to be hard to come by. It needs three solid first party games to get the install base up to a point where developers will take those risks, but it'll never be a console that keeps pace sales wise with the next gen consoles. Just too many poor decisions at the design stage.
Please let there be an old irish guy propped up in the corner of a bar called Paddy Whack.
The share functions arent integral to games, its just there, all the time, giving you the option to use it or not. Its like me saying "Oh, playing Mario on the gamepad not on my TV is a stupid idea. I dont like it therefore its rubbish".
An optional feature should never be used to discount a console.
Its all so obvious now!
Clearly showing a group of six soldiers standing around MUST mean co-op. And the fact that its called Ghosts MUST mean its trying to be like Ghost Recon, a series that no longer exists instead of trying to be like a billion pound series like Cod. And obviously the trailer was so detailed its literally screams "this is going to be something new".
Even for a Saturday this level of shoddy mediocre piss poor excuse for attempted...
Everyone should have time for perfect English, unless it's not your first language. The reason being that it's not your lack of education letting you down it's laziness that makes people write "looool dat wyz epicz man ftw!". If people are as lazy in real life as they are on the internet then society has a serious issue.
On topic, I agree with every level on MW1. They nailed the story perfectly, then unashamedly ripped it off for MW2.
Which is what he said.
Do try to read all of the words in a sentence ok?
Edit: beat me to it.
The issue for me is those Nintendo first party titles are no longer enough for me to justify purchasing their console. Wii was worth it for the fun of Wii sports, Mario Galaxy and afew other 1st party titles, but now, after playing gems like Journey, Bioshock, Far Cry 3, Walking Dead and seeing what new ideas, new worlds and new ways of storytelling developers can bring to the table, the thought of a Mario Golf, Mario Tennis, even a good old Mario platformer just leaves me blase about what Ni...
@Utalkin2me
I played Trine 2 for free as part of PS Plus too, which shows a serious issue for Nintendo. The second most purchased game on Wii U was given away for free on PS3
I think thats the big issue for Nintendo. If the Wii U is less powerful than the upcoming next gen consoles it wouldnt be much of an issue if the 3rd party support was there. The problem is a console that is less powerful than its competitors wont get multiplatform support. The Wii missed out on games like Battlefield, Bioshock, Portal, FFXIII etc because it wasnt powerful enough to support these games. The Wii U is going to face the same issue once the next gen comes out, so once again you...
Your loss buddy.
