When you get 343 studios on stage...to announce a tv series...then you know you're in trouble.

Xbox One will fail where the 360 succeded. In being a games console.
Might not be a scientific measurement but as a rough idea of the mood of gamers its quite damming for Microsoft.
Im sure there are a lot of people for whom the Xbox One appeals, Im just not one of them.
Slavish has got it. Its not so much a fee to play used games, once a game is saved to your hard drive its tied to your account. When you sell it and the new owner saves it to their hard drive it is no longer tied to your account but to the new owners. The only issue is this sounds like it requires an internet connection to verify. How they'll get around it if you dont have one Im not sure.
It means their prayers have been answered. Just kick the marketing team into overdrive and market Wii U as a games console. Seriously think with a few 1st Party titles they could push Xbox for 2nd place.
Your comments are a bit poor. If you'd said that after seeing everything you were more inclined to buy an Xbox One then who can argue with your opinion? Its your choice.
But saying the PS4 doesnt exist or that you've seen no games running on it, despite the fact that Knack, Killzone and Watch Dogs all showed gameplay demos is ignorant fanboy ranting.
On topic Im PS4 all the way. MS showed a very US orientated approach, ESPN, NFL, all things I cant ge...
Biggest issue for Xbox fans here in the Uk and Europe is MS is clearly focused in the US market. ESPN, EA, NFL, all US related. Really bad reveal from them. US might be a huge market but you cant alienate the rest of the world.
Quack quack quack quack.....
Is it possible to have less than one bubble?
Montage. "Heres what you can expect to see on the new Xbox"
They said see the next generation of Fifa. No one said it would be a proper Fifa reveal. Im guessing it'll be the same with titles like AC4, BF4 and Watch Dogs too. Expect Cod to take to the stage for 10-15 mins and maybe 2 first party reveals but thats all.
Square Enix will probably come to the stage, show the same trailer they've been demonstrating for the last year, then announce to the world that they'll be making an announcement at E3. Nah, Im just being cynical. No company would do that at the launch of a new console in front of the entire gaming world....
It might only be an hour but this is an American company, Im expecting a show.
Here in the UK driving round an oval circuit for hours on end would be dull and boring, in America you guys have turned Nascar into an extraveganza.
Sony does the subtle understated approach, MS will be all razamataz and jazz hands. Even if, like me, you have zero intention of buying an Xbox, its still going to worth watching.
Cheers both. I make that 5pm GMT where I am. Should be interestng.
What time is the reveal?
Hope theres a PS logo that I can twist around to match whichever way my console is standing.
Makes a difference when its you paying the bills.
For me though its a case of why would I buy a console at £200 + to be just slightly better than the console I already have? What advantages does the Wii U have over my PS3? Just first party games of which there arent enough right now, and a gimmicky controller.
Its just not worth it.
Nintendo are so cash rich they could afford two disasterous console cycles and still be in business. Dont forget that they make a profit on every console sold with just one game. They wont be a Sega.
@legendoflex.
Fair point but the PS3 did have a disasterous launch. I should know I bought one. But I knew they'd come good so I accepted the bad start and the grief that was dished about online.
Nintendo will come good, what they need to realise is they wont be peoples first choice console. Im in the market for one of the new consoles this winter but the Wii U just isnt on my radar. However once the price goes down and there are more games for it I would conside...
In two years time when Wii U is cheap and has some great first party games and has become peoples "second console" we'll look back at these articles and smile.
