It's the medium through which console makres sell their products.
I've read in an article before that people eating while they are in front of their PC monitors don't feel the satisfaction of eating as much as someone who eats on a table (or elswhere), which leads to eating more than necessary, and resulting with gaining weight if done frequently.
That seems to be a proven scientific fact, but unfortunately I can't find that article or the source of the study right now.
I don't think the game needs a multiplayer section but well, as long as it doesn't hinder the SP experience I'll be fine with that.
I don't usually disagree with everything a person says, but the writer of this opinion piece seems to trigger one of the the rarest occurances that I completely think the "direct opposite" of what's been said about a subject.
I don't even know what game would please a person who thinks that some of the most industry shaking titles are overrated. Those games are praised for a reason, and sales numbers don't usually lie.
I should have specified it, I'll pass the said feature, not the game itself. I'm planning on buying it for PS4. Watch Dogs is one of my most anticipated next-gen titles so far, I wouldn't even dare thinking about passing the game.
@abzdine,
I'm not a fan of mobile gaming myself. Let alone they may be talking about a companion application rather than the full game, details are not given yet.
I've got a Vita, I think that...
One thing I know for sure is that it doesn't help me.
If you want a good looking game, play Dear Esther. It's all about vistas and the atmosphere.
The game isn't even out yet and the "dinosaur mode" rumors surface already. People are getting almost obsessed with this, I don't even understand how a simple joke turned into a mass hysteria. Yeah, dinosaurs are great. And yeah, I know that such a mode would be great. But come on already, the game isn't even out yet and rumors start flying around...
You hear this, DICE? Do it or you'll be responsible for millions of gamers going crazy over a simple ...
I agree that it has a long way to go in terms of the "historical" storyline, I mean the possibilities are endless and as long as the gameplay is solid, and the game is supported by great characters like Haytam, I'll be getting the new games.
But as an AC fan, while I enjoy the historical parts immensely, even I have to admit that the modern-time storyline is going from direct hit to straight s#hit with each installment to the series. The first game was like an i...
Allright, I'll have to pass on this one. That's a nice feature and all, but in the end I'd love to play the game on my console or PC, rather than a tablet or phone, thank you.
I watched the trailer, and I'm still doubting it.
I tip my hat to you good sir, your account is genuinely creative.
I was talking about the single player campaign, mate. MP will be fun in both games, sure. But in military shooters SP campaings have become so repetitive and redundant that it's not even funny anymore. I wish they could just lower the price, make it digital download only and leave out the SP section completely, like Battlefield 1943.
They rely on "da grafix" now?
Battlefield 4 is a game that looks stunning to say the least, and yet it's the same old bland gameplay that fails to amaze. I can bet my sock that Ghosts will bring nothing new to the table as well, even though it might look good.
Bad idea.
Remember how Super Nintendo was called SNES? In that regard Super Xbox would be called "SXBOX", which might be confused with something... well, very different than what it actually is.
Other options: SUXBOX, SUPXBOX... as you can see both are equally terrible.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is a colossal shame on the gaming community.
As a fan of Stephen King's horror books, and a person who grew up with the psychological thrillers like Twin Peaks, Tales From The Crypt and Twilight Zone, Alan Wake was one of my favorite games this gen. Too bad people didn't appreciate the references in the game to the cult masterpieces like Hitchcock's The Birds and Kubrick's The Shinning to name a few.
I love it ...
New setting, that I expected.
But new engine? How the hell did that happen?
There was a game called Freedom Fighters from IO Software, the developers of Hitman games. It was quite good, the point being, title is just a title- nothing more.
Well, I care. I play games for the story, I like games that emphasizes on the story, like Heavy Rain, Alan Wake, Metal Gear Solid. Gameplay is important as well but I sometimes can overlook the shortcomings. Bioshock Infinite, for example: that was some top-notch writing and presentation right there, but the gameplay is quite dull. I still played, and enjoyed the hell out of it.
I do agree with you though, majority of people don't care about the story anymore.
That's Sir Francis Drake and his cousin Sir John Hawkins.
That's right, in Uncharted 4, which'll be a prequel, you'll play as Admiral Drake himself and you'll be facing the mysteries of Bermuda Triangle on your journey through the oceanic islands.
